I heard that all schools have to do is get fifteen colleges to except and NCAA board will make it a school . Those schools could travel and play tournaments against eachother. This is what I heard.
I'm a 2nd year at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. I'll look into what I can do here if there are other people who are going ot look what they can do at their college. Otherwise, I'm pretty content just going around with friends right now.

the problem there is probably $$ paintballers spend lots of it while disc golfers are pretty cheap not all grant you. I know lots of golfers won't embrace any pay to play courses. thats just my take on it. But I also have to ask would there be eligibility requirements for disc if it were to become a NCAA sport if not I might just go back to school. :)

There's a private course outside Hamilton, Ohio: Cabin Creek. There were dues, but we charter members could "work" the dues off when the course was new and needed clearing. Now the course is about 15 years old, and, while it's still there, it's being used for paintball games. They saw an opportunity for income. I can't blame 'em, but I miss the old unspoiled course. Now it's dotted with ugly paintball shelters and paint splotches everywhere. Just when the course was maturing nicely. :( You can't play the course on weekends. They must be making some good $$.
Yes, I used to play paintball and there is alot of money to be made because there is such a high revolving cost. You gotta figure the paintball tourament player will have no problem throwing down $200 a weekend. Were as most disc golfers spend maybe $200 every six months.
