I have been away for A WHILE!! and I come back looking forward to the tourny in Pasadena/Silmar that used to happen in the begining or mid Jan and I do not see it.
Is it still happening or did they close the course?

You would be thinking of the Wintertime Open, I believe.
They have not included Sylmar in that event in quite a few years. Usually this event is held the weekend nearest Valentines Day. They have been holding seperate Pro and Am weekends recently.
There has not yet been confirmation of those dates. Keep checking the PDGA Tour schedule for updates as they come in.
Perhaps you mean the "Hahamonga Flying Disc Classic"?
I believe that was last contested in 1999, as part of the 2000 season.
....if so, it has been a while!

The HFDC only occurred twice. Both times in November, I believe.
He is probably thinking of the Wintertime Open, which has been in February since at least 1999.

I can confirm that; Nov.s 1998, and 1999.
When I first got on the 'Net in 2001, I was a fool for copying all the local DG results I could find. Now, the archives go back to but 2001...it would be really keen to find results from, say, the 1997 El Dorado Open SOMEWHERE, but perhaps parts of 'cyberspace' are "unnavigatable" [or were never charted].
Well I did leave in 93, But I'm back and missed playing and competing. I want to thank all who wrote me to let me know that the Wintertime Open just moved to a diferent month.I last heard that they where going to close the Pasedena course.
