I would say that the Z Pred and CE Firebird are pretty much the same disc except i think the Pred has a little more GLIDE then the Firebird. The Tsunami is less stable then both of these discs yet still fairly OVERSTABLE. The Tsunami has MUCH more GLIDE the the Firebird and the Pred and not as much low speed fade. The Tsunami is a great compliment to both of these discs. I carry a Z Pred for SPIKE hyzers and 375 foot Hyzer drives or really tight short hyzers and Forehands. I carry the DGA Premium plastic Tsunami for my Distance driver. Its slightly beat for Shots over 400 Feet. I also carry a Z Tsunami that i got at DGLO for about 400 ft shots that need to hyzer pretty hard at the end. Thats where the more glide comes in. My Z Tsunami can reach hyzer shots when thrown flat that my Z Pred just has no chance of gettin unless i put a little ANHYZER on it. I suggest picking up a Tsunami. Almost EVERYONE i know who has thrown one put one in thier bag :D
If you like these discs, you should try an Illusion! I used to throw Preds, but now I throw Illusions for distance. They never cease to wow me!

Ok now I'm not bashing you, but.....
WHY DO PEOPLE SPELL MY NAME LIKE THAT?! Almost every time someone writes my name, the spell it like that. Maybe I should start telling people my name is "Gray-AM" instead of "Gram". It's starting to **** me off.
Maybe next time I have to write someones name, I'm going to leave off the last vowel.

Picked up a 170-172g red Tsunami yesterday...haven't thrown it yet. Just a tad domier than my X-Pred...nice plastic! Not sure if it's DGA's request or because it's a 1st run >>> but am glad those 'dern' raised letters/numbers or NOT on the inner rim...!
I've tried to 'use' these menacing bumps for friction/traction purposes...but they just feel like braille to me - limiting where I'm able to get a comfortable grip. When do these enhance one's dg'ing??

On a weird thumber note in relation to this topic, the Z predator is one of the coolest/strangest thumber discs i've thrown. It will go 350'+ for me, all the while never traveling more than 20-25' off the ground. This is an extremely low and tight thumber line that I've yet to really put to use yet, but I'm sure it will be useful. Anyone else mess around with this?

I find both these discs too overstable to be useful to me in any way. My Banshee is still as overstable as I could ever need, I would like to try the Tsunami though, just haven't come across one in my preferred weight range (172g-174g).

I'd agree mostly with what pimp said in regards to the Firebird vs. Predator vs. Tsunami comparisons. I think he just left out one very important detail. Speed.
The Firebird is very, very slow in comparison to the Tsunami and Predator.
That said, the Predator is my main driver, and usually the only driver i take on the course with me. My tourney bag consists of two Z predators (one beat-to-flippy, one very overstable) and one X predator (400+ straight shots), and no other drivers (unless I need to roll on said course.

Hey you bag prolly looks like mine then.
174 Red Z Pred
174 Blue DGLO Z Tsunami
174 DGA Plastic Orange Tsunami
170 X Pred for Flips and Rollers\
But your right the FIREBIRD is A LOT slower then the Tsunami and the Pred. I like fast discs though :D
