Dave Vincent aced hole #10 in position "F" at Morley Field, San Diego, 10/09/04

If anyone knows what this hole is, they will understand why this is so amazing. If not I'll explain it a bit.

Hole 10 long is a 426ft drive that forces the righty to throw a huge swooping anhyzer with a late hooking "S" return. The hole is not downhill, so in order to get the distance to the hole you have to crush the crap out of the disc, and the basket is protected from trees in the front, and on both sides. In order to ace it you have to have about 15'-20' of height coming into the basket before your disc hyzer's down on the pin from the right.

It was an amazing drive, beautiful! And to top it off, this is Dave's FIRST ACE. There is only one other person that we know of for sure that has ever aced this hole (Micah Dorius). And not very many people can even birdy it.

Way to go Dave, I'm your biggest fan!

I'm still waiting to birdie it. I've been pin-high left and right several times with no putt. :( One of these times it'll flex back just right.

I've never birdied it either. It is a very difficult shot for a lefty! I can get close enough to hit the front of the basket on my putt, but they are always ridiculously low ceiling putts, someday I'll sidearm one in or something.

Isn't there/Wasn't there a huge Eucalyptus tree gaurding the basket when 10 is in the "F" position??

No, "F" is another 250 feet past that eucalyptus tree...the basket is by 13's tee box :cool:

Hyzer out early and you bomb the 12 teepad. Fail to come back and you are behind the bushy tree thing that is in front of the 12 teepad. Do it just right (I imagine) and you helix/hyzer back between the two and skip on the dirt up to the pin.
