www.discfly.com (http://www.discfly.com) has a good selection.
If you want to get a good selection of Discraft plastic to try out I would suggest going to discraft.com and looking for the misprint packages. You can get 10 discs for 35 bucks and one guy on here got one and had no overlaps and a good variety of discs. Then if you like any of then you can buy what you want. and you always have the misprints for watershots or the nasty holes.

And when Discraft says misPRINT they mean misPRINT not jacked up mold but we are still going to sell them for 10 bucks a piece anyway *cough INNOVA!!!!!!!!!!!! cough* I bought one of these sets and some of them you cant even tell WHY they are misprints. The only bad thing is you have no control over weight or color so you never know what you are going to get.

Stupidest question about disc golf ever: "What kind of clubs do you use to hit them things?"
That's funny, b/c I had the same sort of question asked the other day...
I was starting a DG club at my university, and an exchange student came up to me and asked if this was "the flying frisbee club" I said "well sort of, it's disc golf" ...."what?" she asked, "well it's just like ball golf only you play it with flying discs or frisbees" I replyed. "BUT HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE??" she was blown away... I couldn't understand why this was such a strange concept to her, until she demonstrated a club whacking a disc off of a tee. restraining my laughter, I said " no, you throw them"
she never did sign up for the club
As for e-stores... Frisbeerancher on eBay is the best he has mostly innova though. JHOP is pretty good too.
Everyone will have their favorite, but I've found that while their website may be a little lacking I have had the best service from:
http://www.discsunltd.com
I emailed a bunch of places looking for some specific discs in specific colors and weights and they had the fastest and nicest response with the best selection. They also happen to be in Kansas (I'm in Minnesota) so the ship time and cost was better for me, too.
I have also used www.charisdiscs.com (http://www.charisdiscs.com) they used to be all discraft but have recenlty added some Innova. They have bundles of discs and also grab bags which are random overstocks they have for a little cheaper. I bought my first discs from there about a year ago when I was sick of throwing cheap plastic frisbees. My first shipment was at my place the very next day and since then its only taken 2 days.
Obviously I know exactly what you mean Jaymo. It is almost disgusting how many people can't understand the concept. I have found that if you call it frisbee golf they seem to have less problems understanding. I guess the term frisbee make them think of throwing them and just the term disc makes them think of a different projectile. Recently I found a busted off head of a ball golf fairway wood and mockingly approached my disc with it as if I would hit it... I found it absolutely hilarious and as I stood over the disc I couldn't stop laughing at just how impossible hitting a disc and making it fly would be. Another thing that always makes me laugh is just imagine how much you would taco a disc if you unloaded a Big Bertha into it at 120 or so mph. If that isn't bad enough, imagine you were hitting an epic. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
I'll second the support for frisbeerancher on eBay...that guy has some great stuff at cheap prices. I wanted a 150-class Z Flick and Talon and he put the pair on eBay with a "Buy it now" price of $22 plus $4 shipping. There isn't a better deal out there.
cheapdiscgolf.com is also a good place to look. They don't have a huge selection, but the prices on what they do have are very good.

Discovering the World is another good one. In business over 20 years. Hall of Fame owner. $5 shipping any where. Frisbeerancher rocks eBay.
there are several great dealers around but I use mostly; www.discgolfvalues.com (http://www.discgolfvalues.com) for X-Outs,or call714-488-1042, or www.discndatonline.com (http://www.discndatonline.com) or call 1-800-815-7178 for Innova,Discraft,Gateway or Lightning, or mybearfamily@earthlink.net or call 1-813-657-7440 for all Gateway. I much prefer calling on the phone because they often have a lot of discs that aren't on their website.
I've never had a bad experience with Disc 'n Dat (http://discndatonline.com). They always have the most current discs, even prototypes. They also have great deals. Every time I've ordered online, they call me about an hour later and go through their inventory with me on the phone to get me exactly what I want.
They also have a killer deal on standard plastic. 5 of your choice for about $33 shipped.

Being a newbie ... and needing a bunch of discs to check out, since I live in the middle of freaking nowhere ... i have tried several of the online retailers listed here. Charis, and discfly are good ... but the one I LIKE the most is MIke Barnett's store http://www.sunkingdiscs.com
Mike has a great selection of discs, and he is very friendly to chat with if you are looking for something specific, and puts a lot of work into the site keeping it current with LIVE pictures of many of the ACTUAL discs he has for sale. If you are looking for a cool dye ... you can see the actual disc dye on his website ... way cool. Escpecially if you are looking for a custom dye like a Dr. Dye or Dank Dye or something rare or whatever. Standard disks are not shown individually, but if you call Mike he will tell you what he has, and will talk "disc" with you to get you what you need. Great service. Check him out ... and tell him John McMullen sent you! He might send me some free stuff! lol
PS. When he sent my first order, he threw in a free Reaper Z! Dang cool of him.

I may be biased but I would suggest that you compare prices between many online retailers and then go to EpicenterDiscGolf.com (http://EpicenterDiscGolf.com) for the best selection at the lowest prices! Epicenter is a proud sponsor and is donating its services as project manager of the PDGA National Disc Golf Center, currently under development just north of Augusta, GA.

Definitely got to go with discndatonline.com (http://www.discndatonline.com) . Dan & Candice are the best. They will look through their inventory and tell you the specific weights, colors, & stampings of the discs.
I highly recommend them! :)

I've purchased discs from many of the online vendors...
My favorite is Discs Unlimited, followed by Disc n dat, sun king, disc golf world, and discovering the world.
All of these places will check their stock for the exact disc you're looking for...
I've found however that I only use the online vendors when i'm in need of a larger shipment of discs (5 or more). If i'm looking for a specific discs it is easier to trade/buy from someone on these boards...(many people have discs that are barely used and dont need... good way to get discs cheaply that way...)
I live in Canada so I have to get stuff shipped north of the border. I've also found Frisbeerancher to be great to deal with and have great deals. John's House of Plastic is quite good as well! I tend to buy more from JHOP because he has more DX plastic.
I agree with Boneman. Sun King is definitely my favorite. They get everything in a soon as it comes out, and often have pre-order sales on the latest discs. The shipping is extremely fast (my orders normally take 2-4 days to get from Florida to Ohio). Their website is easy to maneuver, and the pictures of the individual dyed discs are really helpful. Make sure you check out the Dr. Dye's. Also, Mike Barnett is great. I've talked to him on the phone several times when he's called me to make sure he's sending exactly what I want. Definitely my favorite.
I just used http://www.discsunltd.com and they were great; I called them on the phone with my list of what I wanted, and they went through their stock for me while I waited. There was only one disc they could match with the exact weight and color, so I just picked a different color.

Yeah, totally... Frisbeerancher and JHOP are the best... can't find better deals.. and they usually have more discs ini stock that arent online...
Comon Jaymo, you got to mention lklomp on Ebay, I know you've got some great deals from her.
Puh-lease, you guys - if it's worth an extra day or two to save some green, then Discflights (http://www.discflights.com/) is the way to go. They don't have much of a website... just a web PAGE actually, but you can email them an order of whatever Innova or Discraft discs you want in whatever weights and colors you want. If they don't have them in stock (and they won't... not a very large in store selection), they'll custom order the discs you want and get them in about three days. Then when they get them in stock they'll call you to get your credit card info (so give them your #) and ship the discs out... I'm not sure what happens if they can't get the color you want or whatever, they'll probably let you know so you can chose a something else (they gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. Here's some long-winded info...
Their prices:
Innova or Discraft DX plastic is $5 each
Pro Line, Elite X is $7 each
Champion, Elite Z is $10 each
And I compared prices to ALL the other stores listed here (and others, total excel sheet had about 38 online stores), and for ten DX discs (including shipping) the top five were:
http://www.discflights.com/
$59.00
http://www.discfly.com/ (priced as 2 5-pack bundles)
$62.86
http://www.discndatonline.com/ ($5.79 each-part of bundle)
$63.85
http://www.flyingdischunter.com/
$64.90
http://www.platypusdisc.com/ ($5.85 each for 10 [bundle])
$65.50
At 5 DX discs, it's still the cheapest site - but only $0.90 cheaper than discndat (http://www.discndatonline.com/)
And FINALLY, just in case you wanted to buy 10 Champion/Z discs, you'd save nearly ten bucks from the nearest competitors - slipdiscgolf, platypusdisc, and discgolfunlimited.
Hope this saves somebody a buck, that'll make me happy :D
I have no idea how discflights make any money selling discs for so cheap. Being a disc retailer myself all I have done is lost money in this business and my prices are higher than those guys. But I donate alot of plastic to leagues and tournements to promote the sport. And I have a storefront to pay for. I think most players like to feel a disc before they buy one. I only do E-bay to help pay the rent during the off-season.
