I can confirm that that has been talked about for years now. In fact, 4 years ago, Tom 'old man' McCut took me on a 9 hole tour in the thicket across the street from hole #11's Teepad. He also talked about having holes on the other side of the barge, in hopes of having 27-36 holes at Lake Park. Talk is talk.
