I have just started playing and have a question about driving -
i have an innova stingray and can throw it about 250' and get it to turn right almost on command (I'm a righty) - I also have a beast and cannot get it to do anything but a sharp left turn. I find similar results with my Eagle. I am trying to work on the beast to get a longer drive - any ideas? - Thanks!!
Keep using the Beast and Eagle for left turn shots and try a disc with a stability inbetween them and the Stingray. When I was throwing that distance earlier this summer I had my best results with a Leopard. Blake has a great article with a big list of discs that might help out here:

You'll grow into the Eagle before you know it and you'll still be wanting the Tier 2 driver to practice hyzer flilp shots and for long turnover shots, so you don't have to worry about buying a disc that you'll just grow out of right away.

Maybe you should try an archangel or a valkrie or maybe a seasoned DX beast for long range turn overs. On the other hand I have the best luck with Starfires, new DX beast, the 150 flick, and the tsunami when going for MAX D.

Are your shots (stingray) right hand turns on level flight, or do they kind of go up and to the right?
Are your shots (drivers) left hand turns on level flight, or are they up in the air?
Does your drivers start right and then go left or do they just start left straight off the release?
I was out playing last night between some beginners and some big arms when these questions "popped" into the space between my ears :D
