we just put 9 baskets in the ground over the summer with ambitions to start clearing for the back 9 this winter and hopefully have them installed shortly there after.
the "GC" is a pretty tough course with everything from long open field shots to shorter wooded shots. there are currently natural style white and red tees (whites for the big arms and reds for the ace runs). we should be creating blue tees (longer w/ differnt look) around the time that we install the back 9.
it took us a long time to beat back the snakes, spiders, brush and briers. but it has certainly paid off. the course is beautiful and there is much more to come!
check out the Blue Ridge Disc Golf Club wesite for location, directions and course map BRDGC homepage (http://avenue.org/brdgc/)
also thanks to the volunteer army that helped install this course and thanks to the GC park and local sponsers.
