Can you supply a link to the rule?

I doubt he can, because it is not the case. "No Touring Card pros in C-tiers" was proposed initially for 2004, but it was rescinded quickly and never put into effect.

That is from Nov. 2003. It was rescinded. Put down the beer and slowly back away from the keyboard....

so I noticed that "touring pro card holders" cannot PLAY in C-tier's. So what happens when someone does and cashes does this PDGA do anything about this? or will they have to DONATE their winnings? :o

Unless the policy is being changed for 2005, nothing. The proposal to prevent NT card holders from competing in C-tiers was shot down in response to issues raised on the msg board and following consultation with SCs and TDs. (Do a search for 2004 sanctioning agreement for details.)

Having just been at the Augusta Board meeting, I can assure everyone that reviving this idea (excluding card carrying pros from C-tiers) isn't even on the horizon.

Hey I just heard of a great idea. I read about an am tourney where top pros are welcome but have to take a handicap based on a 900 rating!!

The way it works, if the pro has a rating of 970 he has to add 7 strokes to his score. If his rating is 1030 he adds 13 strokes, etc.

To bad people with ratings of 810 can't knock 9 strokes off their score!
