buzzz all the way...i carry 3 of them usually...
The most important disc in my bag is my 175 Hard Wizard. Any disc will work for a drive, but when I'm faced with a shot under 200', no matter how crazy the shot, I can get within 10' with my wizard. The ability to recover from a bad drive, and having total control of any shot 200' in, should be the most important part of EVERYONE's game!
Who cares if you can throw 450'...can you gaurntee at least par on every hole?
For me it's either my Proline Gremlin or some sort of Wizard...probably my "H" Wizard right now. I don't always use them for putting, but I agree with what DiscGraham said about the Wizard as an approach disc. I don't know how they do it, but whenever I need to lay up to save par they always seem to perform. I did have to go most of a round without my Gremlin, though and it was devistating to my score, so I couldn't ignore it.

Z-Xtreme.............It can do anything under 300'. Backhand hyzers, backhand knife shots, backhand skip shots, backhand inverts, forehand hyzers, forehand knife shots, forehand skip shots, forehand rollers.
Are you scared of the wind in TX and OK? The Z-Xtreme is not!!!! I have thrown this disc into a wind that was hard to stand in. The disc performed like the wind wasn't even there.

Beatdown, tree crushed, blacktop skidding, faded, ugly orange, champion Beast...that thing is gold. Only shot it can't handle is the big anny. Forgot to mention...it never flew that well until I hit my first moving car with it. The second car i hit made it into the thing of beauty it is today.

You don't have a MRV in your bag! :D
At the time, it's my champion Orc (174g) because I can give it all I've got and not worry about it turning over. It holds a straight line every time.
I also have to mention my DX Roc (175g) because it likes to park itself right under the basket.

The Wizard without question. It doesn't matter how far you throw your drive... if you 3-putt you can't make par.

Everyone knows all you need to do is read the entire MRV thread (including links) to be able to master the MRV. I can guarntee that if you read that entire thread, you will be able to throw your MRV at least 350'!

MARTIN-T, I've paraphrased it before and I'll paraphrase it again, "That big, bad azzed orange gremlin may taste like pumpkin pie, but I still ain't gonna eat the motherf#*ker." One of the great all time movie lines, right up there with, "Look at the big brain on Brad" or "Zed's dead baby." :D

DX Roc. The middle one in the new/seasoned/beat rotation.
Normally, I'd have to say the Talon.... just this last weekend though it was an 86 Softie!!!

KC Aviar... If you can't putt... add 18 strokes... I use it at least once on every hole (unless I ace, but how often does that happen)
I use it more than any other disc, probably twice as much as any other disc! :D

Well. The hardest to immideatly replace would be my Roller (Beat "S" Illusion) so I guess that. Although, as others said, my putter. I use my Max Weight Soft Wizard at least 18 times a round, if I'm lucky! Usually a little more though!
My Pro TL. Makes my putter obsolete.
My marker disc. Otherwise I wouldn't know where to throw from!! :D
I would have to say it is a toss-up between my Z MRV or my Z Wasp. They can make even the most errant drive into a possible 3 on my home course.

A lot of the posts here refer to the putter. You can call me crazy (some have), but I would think the most important disc in your bag is the one that gets you to your putter. I'm not a big arm, so my game lives (and dies) on the approach. I carry two Cobra's and a Shark to get me to an easy putt (hopefully). Of the three, my "goto" is a moderaterly beat up Cobra.
My approach disc is my putter... long live the Wizard.
I use my putter for almost everything inside 200' so it is the disc that gets me into putting range.

I'll go with the Xtreme. Always have at least 2 in my bag. SE Rhynos are petty special, too.
I just got a Z Extreme (174g) in one of those Discraft factory misprint packages and after a few rounds I could see that thing becoming my most important disc...about as predictable as they come.
Brain, I was curious what other discs you got in your Discraft misprint package... I was considering getting one to have as practice discs and wanted to know what type of distributions they ship out.
Brain, I was curious what other discs you got in your Discraft misprint package... I was considering getting one to have as practice discs and wanted to know what type of distributions they ship out.
I was a little worried that the distribution would be really bad since they pretty much just randomly throw discs in there, but I was very happy with the results. I was also surprised to see how minor some of the misprints were. The discs I got in my Z pack were:
174 Extreme
169 Crush
172 Wasp
171 Wasp (with a Buzzz stamp on it, a bit confusing)
172 Breeze
174 Talon (blue, completely opaque)
169 XS
173 Hawk
176 Cyclone
175 Putt'r
um...i would have to say either my old style pro leopards or my proline gremlins... yeah, gotta be the gremlins.
I can't believe I got through this whole board without someone mentioning the most reliable, versatile, parkable disc there is, THE CHAMPION LEOPARD.
If you don't know, now you know.

1st Run Orange Z Buzz- I use it on every type of course. Does not beat in at all. Goes straight every time. The best midrange there is. Period.

I know a lot of guys who swear by their old CE and new Champion leopards. The CE leopard used to be my goto driver, but that was a long time ago. I've since moved on to sabres. The Leopard is a great disc for anyone though. It's especially good as a "lazy driver".
