Holy freakin cow let me first say my hat is off to all you people that organize the tournaments and leagues that i have been playing in. I had no idea the ammount of work you need to do. Any way I find myself in a hard position I am a full time student at WIU and on top of that I have put it upon my shoulders to make something out of this non-existent club. I have as a goal a tournament for october third the one year anniversery of the Sipolt Memmorial Course. Ok so this is what i need help with:
1) where i can go to have custom duflex bag(ear) tags made up. I was trying to do something like the worlds bag tags but with a WIU logo.
2) Does anyone know any Sipolt that did/does/is playing disc golf. There is a course out here that is a memorial to Helen and Michael Sipolt. I would like to know any information that I could.
3)Any tips on having custom discs printed up.
4) Any general td advice.
Thank you for your time

3)Any tips on having custom discs printed up.
I suspect your timeframes and upfront cash will make this not likely to happen. Discraft gives great deals on custom stamped merch. I don't know Gateway.
4) Any general td advice.
Learn how to TD before attempting it. Volunteer at some tournaments as a non-player all day long and learn every aspect of the TD process. For your first tournament, invite an outside club in to run it and pay attention to everything, unless you have done a lot of volunteering.
I learned how to run events by volunteering at MDGOs and then doing the Lizard Doubles with Mark Ellis. Jon learned how to TD by volunteering at the Lizard Doubles and then running the IOS with me. Brett learned how to TD by volunteering for the IOS and then running the Blast with Jon and I. There's a pattern here...

I would agree. Always start by volunteering at other events.
If you have to have your own event, find a respected TD in the area, and convince them to run your event and pay very close attention to everything they do.
Well any nay sayers can stop reading right now. Thank you very much
Any way.
WIU = Western Illinios University. It is located in macomb 61455. we are a small school around 10,000 students. A Sipolt donated a course to the university a year ago (10/03/04) . The course is dedicated to a Helen and Michael Sipolt.
been there and done that in response to helping out at other events. Anyone remember a crazy spotter at big creek. Yep that was me.

There is a huge difference between being a spotter and helping to run a tournament. Running a tournament before ever helping to run a tournament is a bit risky. Good luck!

Dustin, I don't think Gary and I are naysaying. We are trying to help you be successful at what you want to do. I eat a lot of food; that does not qualify me to run a restaurant.
Running a tournament on short notice, without a team of volunteers, without an experienced TD, without a merch plan, without advance publicity, is not the kind of thing that will get a non-existent disc golf club going. That's how I run the Sturgeon. (http://www.pdga.com/tournament/tournament_results.php?TournID=4550) :o
If I were looking to get the club going I'd start running league on a regular day and pass out flyers to the players on the course. I'd keep it cheap and affordable for students. When league got going I'd try to organize a league outing to a Peoria Frisbee Club event where I'd meet Old Man or Wilbur and discuss the idea of them doing something at WIU. If they were not interested I'd work out from there and talk to Gary Lewis in Joliet, whoever runs the Springfield club, the Sinissippi club, etc.
I don't give a lot of unsolicited advice. You asked. Ignoring wisdom seems to be a perogative of youth.
I am sorry if i offended anyone. I am going on the idea that the one year event is apporaching. I would like to do something for this. Be it actually on the day of the event or possibly a little later. Thank you once again everyone for replies. feel free to contact me via email also. ciao
With the realization that the funds will at the very soonest be dispersed on 9/22/04 more like 9/29/04 . There would be no possible way to make it. But this has not stopped me. I will be taking all the steps to try and put on a successful event. Thank you for your time. And hopefully this thread won't die out on me I am sure i still have plenty of questions to be asked and would love to hear input from other people. ciao
Well logo is being done as I speak. I need to go talk to some people today and figure out what the money situation is. I need to nail down a date that this will take place and start advertising. After doing some research at discraft I think I will have a good prize package. I should be giving away a ctp prize for all 18 holes and even a couple extra ctp challenges. Everything is turning out nicely. ciao.
Ok well this whole process of putting on a disc golf tournament has been pushed back to late october. I am starting to think about just putting on my own disc golf tournament instead of hoping through all these hoops at the university. ciao.

Don't give up.
But don't assume that running a tourney is so simple that it doesn't require any planning, either. There has been great advice in this thread, mainly being to go be a non-playing volunteer at an established tourney so you can see exactly what all has to be done.
Then start planning yoru tourney well in advance. (2nd anniversary of the course?)
I am taking alot of the planning steps. I am currently trying to procure a scoreport for the wiu disc golf club. I am beginning to establish a wiu league system here on campus (after one week we have already raised $20 soon to be more after the event tonight). I am still having problems getting the website up and running. Which is funny b/c i am a computer science major. Well there i go running my mouth again. Oh and by the way the course is turning one year this upcoming October 3rd. ciao
Hi how is everyone doing good to hear. Basically I would like to know what most clubs do for the odd-man out in random doubles play. Currently in the info I have it listed as:
The Game: Best shot doubles - random draw for partners just before
competition begins. (In the case that we have an odd man out I will always volunteer to sit out of that week ) Other than that, PDGA rules apply (yes, marker disks, OB, mandatory shots, etc. all apply)
I want to come up with a system that the odd man out can play seeing as we are doing the following system:
Scoring: 1 point for showing up and playing
2 points for each team you beat
1 point for each team you tie
Most points at the end of the season wins
Top Third Gets paid out at end of season
The following are the options as I see it:
1) One "Mulligan" per hole
2) 2 throws for every hole
3) Set number of strokes they can use at any time of the game (or a set number of Mulligans)
Talk around the club brought up an idea to have a person throw 2 drives and then play the best. I would like to keep the option open to the player when and where they can take their extra strokes. Thank you for your time.
UPDATE
the following information is corrected for easier DISCussion:

If we have an odd man we play cali.
We play it as they get 1 Extra shot per hole. Whether its the drive the upshot or the putt the player gets to decide. If you dont use your extra shot on a hole thats it its gone. You cant like save your extra shots you get one per hole whether you use it or not. Cali actually has an advantage at ACE pots becuase if they park the first drive they can just run the ace with their EXTRA shot.
I think cali is the best way to do it. Thats just my opinion i could be wrong.

One other option we do is that the lone player can buy in another spot (pay for a full team) and play 2 throws on every shot. Depends on the course and player just how much of an advantge this is.
Dirt, the reason most groups don't play "two of everything" [which I think is what you meant in #2; e.g. 2 shots from every lie] is that that oddmen get the benefit of 'adjusting' after their first shot. This plays biggest on second putts by the same player.
...the exception to this is when the oddman is especially less-skilled than the others. We have at least one guy we make an exception for!
the worst case senario would be ANYPLAYER getting 2 shots per stroke (if this needs more information or to be defined better i can plz just reply thx). So lets say ANYPLAYER gets the cali option. Hole one they ace once and seeing as they have another stroke (as said by a couple people and may possibly lose this chance to throw again) they throw again and guess what ANYPLAYER now has 2 ace's after one hole. Now if this current trend with ANYPLAYER continues by the end of 9 holes they will have had 18 ace's(or 36 for 18 holes) and still have 9 holes to play.
Now on the other hand we have DIRTY D and DIRTY D loves to play disc golf( and plays all of his dues and is a member of pdga ) now DIRTY D seeing as he is no sucker well he also aces number one and then goes onto believe it or not ace the next 18 holes.
So after 18 holes DIRTY D has 18 aces
So after 18 holes ANYPLAYER has 36 aces
Now this is where agrument comes in: how should we proceed. Or should we even come to a point where this can come up. Second off does any one know if the PDGA has an offical stand point on this option. I find it interesting that the rule book clearly define tournament options (a-tier/b-tier/x-tier..etc) but offers little if no information about local leagues. Possibly this could be brought to the correct peoples attention and then the PDGA could make an offical ruling or at the least an offical standard of running the following leauges:
1)Scramble Random Doubles
2)Best Shot Doubles
3) etc...I can get more detailed about every possible league that could be put on..
4)ONE DISC RANDOM DOUBLES WORST SHOT //which as far as i know is valid way to play... this option may not be very popular but having an OFFICAL PDGA stance on how they would like the following formats played possibly an addition to the following parts of the "PDGA OFFICAL RULES" 804.02.D (I am sure that we can come up with something arbitary that needs to be stated here so if/when i get a rules revision then MY FREAKIN RULE IS UNDER D
YOU GET IT DIRTY D FOR RULE 804.02.D funny ha huh)
Secondly this would cut down on alot of sticky situations that arise in leauge play.
IF THERE ARE ANY TERMS THAT YOU DON"T UNDESTAND
I.E.
the difference b/w scramble and best shot. or even slang/shorthand that i use like b/w = between
scramble : Player A and Player B (From now on refered to only as A and B respectively) are teammates (to be defined by some random way). A drives B drives the "best shot" of the 2 is where the GROUP(A and B) takes their next shots (so 2 more shots from the previous "best shot". This trend continues until at least one player from GROUP(A and B) "holes out"
best shot-: Player A and Player B (From now on refered to only as A and B respectively) are teammates (to be defined by some random way). A drives B drives. They both note that they did a very good job and goto find thier discs A finds A's discs and then continues to play the hole from that spot. B continues on parrallel play but plays all spots from his drives(OR B's throws). The hole is completed when BOTH A and B have "holed out". UPON REQUEST FOR SCORING(804.03.0G or whatever naming standard you have set up). Once again thank you for your time and I am sure with your help we can make sure that this post NEVER dies..
If you want me to post anything ie.. personal information or actual club details that I am dealing with I will be more than happy to comply all you have to do is ask.
this is how i see myself : little ittie bittie peon

ciao.
information on terms: Well I am just a student and I am a computer science student so a word means a word to me. I just wanted to make sure that everyone was on the same page ONCE AGAIN ANY PROBLEMS UNDERSTANDING WHAT I AM TRYING TO POST PLZ EMAIL ME or just reply. Also I am sorry about the spelling errors that are taking place in this post. If this were a professional document you can bet your bottom dollar that i would be spell checking (or the best case senario actually looking up BIG words in the dictionary)...Also pretty much any response would be ok with me. Hell if you want to spam on this thread we can talk sponsorship for the tournament that I am planning b/c (b/c = beacuse) I sure as hell need office supplies (stapler, folders, printing professional documents for sponsorship info). AND HEY IF YOU MADE IT THIS FAR DO YOU KNOW MR SIPOLT? IF SO PLZ SEND A DETAILED E-MAIL TO
[email protected] Ciao.
Dirty D, I can't fault anybody for wanting to create their own vernacular, but it might be easiest for all concerned if, at least here, you go by the accepted terms. :)
click here: Official Double Rules (http://www.pdga.com/rules/doubles.php) Right? It's hard to find, I know.
One thing I don't understand about:
So after 18 holes DIRTY D has 18 aces
So after 18 holes ANYPLAYER has 36 aces
Where the heck is your partner?!? Having two 'odd men' on the same tee makes no sense to me.
I disagree we have to think of this as the worse case senario. If you allow the worst player in your league to use option #2 then they will have 2 shots on each ace hole and also 2 shots at any/all ctp's thank you for your time and lets not let this thread die there will always be good info included in this thread and it is a personal goal of mine as i am sure it is of the webdesigners to OVERFLOW the views or posts fielf of this forum (THIS IS CRAZY COMPUTER TALK THAT I DO TO EXCLUDE ALL DISC GOLFERS FROM WHAT I AM SAYING KIND OF LIKE WHEN YOU USE HYZER WITH A NEWBIE AND THEY HAVE NOT IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON ONCE AGAIN IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLZ POST)
also one minor thing that i noticed is i was referred to as dirt, I would like to be called dirty d or if you actuall know me (ANYONE FROM THE QUAD CITIES HOLLA OH YEAH WHAT DOES YOUR CLUB GOT NOT AS MUCH AS MINE DOES BIG I MEAN HUGE PROPS TO A MICHAEL ROBINSON FROM THE GOOD OLE QCA THAT THREW A HUGE 437 FOOT DRIVE TO TAKE THE ONE THE ONLY LONG DRIVE CONTEST AT WORLDS....QUAD CITIES DISC GOLF CLUB = longest drive in worlds from a very active player I am sorry mike if i spelled your name wrong but how i see it is ANYOTHERDISCGOLFCLUB= ALL MEMBERS WHO CAN NOT OUT DRIVE MIKE ROBINSON THE CURRENT LONG DRIVE COMPETITION CHAMPION OF THE WORLD 2004) once again thank you for your time. this was ment to get the blood boiling in you and thus make you YES I MAKE YOU REPLY TO ME.
Simple example:
I have a friend from countrya his name is IPussyWillowLovesWalksInDeepDarkPark
I could call my friend any of all kinds of possiblities some not being to good of meanings, this is the way when you take a "handle" and make it your own. Real world: would you call your boss "DICK" or Richard? Seeing as DICK is not that bad you could call him dick if you were on first name basis with him But also you could offend him by calling him some sub name of his name. Thank you for listening to you lesson in computer ethics. Also remember that what is written digital has no tone to it. So problems arise about meaing all the time. If you are interested plz reply and i will repost keep in mind i am a student currently w/o (with out ) a job and don't have the greatest sleeping patterns + I love disc golf and besides that I hopefully can spell out ANY PROBLEM in terms that anyone should be able to learn/understand. AND HOPEFULLY SOON A COUPLE .D's in your Offical PDGA RULE book will be granted seeing as who'd of thought Dirty D. cooresponds to *.*.D (Webmaster you can translate this info to who needs to know it? if not plz contact me) ciao.
Well in the extreme example your pattern would not even matter if it helps every place that you would think of it like this
GIVEN DIRTY D AND DIRTY D2 ARE A TEAM AND ANYPLAYER IS THE CALIFORNIA OPTION BEING DISCussed in this thread..
So after 18 holes DIRTY D has 18 aces
So after 18 holes DIRTY D2 has 18 aces
So after 18 holes ANYPLAYER has 36 aces
WHO SHOULD GET THE MONIES?:::
with an ace fund of $100 I would give the monies as follows:
totalnumberofaces = 72
so we take the ace fund and divide it by 72 then for every ace we figure out how much you get. In this case one ace would net you (1.39 //this is assuming the disc golf club may or may not feel a one or 2 cent flux in profits barring that the math behind 100/72 comes out to be something crazy like 1.388888888888 where the 8's go on for ever. ... If i am a TD need to be concerned with .00000008 of cents then i need to know this other wise the math will be geared towards realworld examples ie 1.388888888 = 1.39...Be it be known if you have cutco knives or something else freaky I WILL ACCEPT 1/4 cents 1/2 cents and even some crazy 1/6 cents LET IT BE KNOWN THAT ONLY 25 cents of this crazy currency that you are trying to pass on to me will go towards the disc golf club. After that "real monies" will be required.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE REPLY SEE HOW FAST I DID THAT GOOD CS STUDENT. ciao.
thank you hopefully you can make it to an event that i put on , I am doing my best to make it a sanctioned event. I can send you more information if needed.
Thank you for that info I will read the offical PDGA VEIW OF THIS or the link that you have provided and will turn to any naming standard that is established. ciao
Hey you spent your time writing something to me SO GUESS what I WILL RESPOND TO ANY/ALL comments in this thread. Sometimes i will try to lump a couple of like responses together but when i have the time i will personally respond to every post on this thread THAT IS THE DIRTY D GUARANTEE
From what I saw there was no DISCussion on cali. that is what this thread has raised and I hope can continue to raise.. Thank you for putting your 2 cents into this subject
documents that we should take reference upon:
i found the following info at "http://www.pdga.com/rules/doubles.php" thank you meatwad for pointing that out
it states the following
Rules for Doubles
Show All Rules | Rules Q & A | Doubles | Becoming a PDGA Official | Approved Discs & Targets
These rules for doubles play have been approved by the PDGA Rules Committee.
Doubles play comes in a variety of formats. Best Shot, Best Disc (aka Best Score), Alternate Shot, Worst Shot, and Tough Shot are described below. Except where noted, PDGA rules apply.
One oddity about doubles formats with regard to the rules is that a team may often disregard a player's shot (or score, in Best Disc), giving that player a good deal of theoretical leeway as far as rules are concerned. As always, any attempt to circumvent the rules in order to gain competitive advantage is subject to action up to and including disqualification. In most cases, a warning or penalty throw incurred by a player shall apply to that player only; for example, if player A throws a drive out-of-bounds in Best Shot and the team elects to play player A's drive, the team is then lying two at player A's lie. Warnings and penalty throws for the following violations shall apply to the team as a whole: courtesy, practice throw, interference, late scorecard, and incorrect scorecard. All other warnings and penalty throws shall apply to the offending player only. Any call that requires confirmation must be confirmed by players on other teams.
In the Best Shot, Tough Shot, and Best Disc formats, you do not throw if it is mathematically impossible for you to improve your team's score on a hole. In the Best Shot and Tough Shot formats, the second player does not throw if the first player has holed out. If you are playing Best Disc format and your partner has holed out, you do not throw unless you can improve on your partner's score. Any throw made which cannot possibly improve a team's score on a hole is a practice throw.
The formats described below may be extended beyond doubles (to triples, etc) if desired.
Best Shot
Best Shot is by far the most popular doubles format. Both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the team chooses which of the resulting lies to continue play from, until the hole is completed.
* A team may take a reasonable amount of time to pick which lie they want before the 30-second play clock starts.
* A lie that is picked up without being marked is gone forever; the team must throw from the other lie. If the second lie is picked up, it must be replaced in accordance with PDGA rules. All lies must be marked according to PDGA rules.
* If the first player throws from the wrong lie, the second player may still throw from the correct lie.
* In case of injury or disqualification, one partner may play alone, throwing one shot at each lie (essentially playing singles).
Worst Shot
Worst Shot is the most brutal of the doubles formats, and can test the patience of even the best teams. In Worst Shot, both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the competing teams in the group choose which of the subsequent lies will be used, with the aim of making the hole as difficult as possible. The hole is completed once both team members have holed out from the same lie.
* The 30-second play clock begins once the opposing teams have selected the lie.
* A lie that is picked up without being marked must be replaced in accordance with PDGA rules. All lies must be marked according to PDGA rules.
* Any warning or penalty incurred by a player may be chosen to apply to the team, at the opposing teams' discretion.
* A team found to be giving an opposing team a better lie will be disqualified for unsportsmanlike behavior.
Tough Shot
Tough Shot is the same as Worst Shot, with the following variation: once a player on the team has holed out, the team has completed the hole.
Alternate Shot
In Alternate Shot, only one sequence of throws is made on each hole. The team selects a player to throw the tee shot at the beginning of the round. The other player then throws from the subsequent lie, and play alternates in that fashion until the round is completed. Alternate Shot is closer to a singles format, where one partner can't bail the other out. If you miss a short putt, chances are good that you'll be driving the next hole.
* If the wrong player on a team throws, another team must call it immediately, like a foot fault. The team receives a warning, and the correct player throws. Subsequent violations incur a one-throw penalty.
* For any violation that requires a rethrow (stance violation, provisional throw), the same player throws.
Best Disc (Best Score)
In Best Disc (also known as Best Score), each player plays the hole as they would while playing singles; there are no shared lies. The team score is the best score on the hole by one of its players.
* The player who is away will always throw first, with this exception: If both players are lying the same number of throws, the team may choose which player throws first.
* A player must pick up once it is impossible for him to better the team's score. The team incurs a warning for the first violation, and a penalty throw for subsequent violations.
* In case of injury or disqualification, one partner may play alone.

I can get a crack group of cs majors that are also disc golf players working with you or directly on this problem, Ask and you shall receive. ciao
p.s. the comments that i say they are just meant to get you all "uppitiy" and to respond to my thread. I have never been to Texas and i am sure it is a wonderful state I have friends down there and may come there eventually. Hopefully these comments do 2 things.
1) make lively DISCussion
2) show that i kind of know what i am talking about
and the second could be made null and void if California now has more courses than iowa last time i checked this was not the case. Any whoo thanks for your time and plz plz plz respond if you have any questions. Seeing as I am a busy man I may only be able to update this thread once aday. Hopefully that one time a day i can clear up any questions that any one has. And on top of that I will be hoping to turn my status as a lurker into something better. WEBMASTER I WANT SOME STARS ON MY THREAD. Be it only me updating this thread it will not die. So plz give me a star or two, thank you for your time, caio
If the situation were to be described as a current untited states state then i would say that we should be saying alaska or that other small state that is an island thus representing what we want to represent. AN ODDMAN OUT. DO ODDMEN/ODDWOMEN COME FROM CALIFORNIA? Follow the revolution at least the revolution that i am starting and that is no longer refering to cali as cali but maybe alaski or hiwii ...WHAT DO YOU THINK
Well in the fine town of macomb we are presenting a plan to the parkboard tonight at the PARKBOARD MEETING. If you know any disc golfers in the area we are asking that they show up to this meeting with a disc. Thank you for yout time. Below is more info;
PLEASE BRING A GOLF DISC TO THE MACOMB PARK DISTRICT BOARD MEETING:
>
> Tuesday Sept 21
> 6:00 pm
> Macomb City Hall (2nd floor)
>
> I've shared this with some of you already, but I wanted to let everybody
> know so they can lend their support. I have approached the Macomb Park
> District with a proposal to create two new 18 hole disc golf courses in
> Macomb - one in Glenwood/Everly park, another at Spring Lake.
>
> My proposal is that I will raise the money to pay for basic courses - grass
> tees, single basket placements, etc. if the park district will maintain them
> and upgrade them to deluxe or championship level courses as usage grows.
> All
> 5 of the park board comissioners and the executive director have my proposal
> in hand. Response, so far, has been very favorable.
>
> I have been requested to present and answer questions at next Tuesday's
> park board meeting. I am 2nd or 3rd on the agenda so it will probably be
> 6:20 before I'm actually called.
>
> Here is what I would like - TONS of disc golfers to attend the park board
> meeting - each carrying a disc - to show their support for more disc golf
> courses in Macomb. If support is stong - and money can be raised - we could
> have the beginnings of another course before the snow flies.
>
> Thanks for the help!
>

Anyone in the area we will be setting up at lease one portable basket outside of city hall at the very latest 5:15. So plz come and share your comments/concerns with your local group of players.
Thank you for the comment hopefully I can continue this pattern by learning from you how to be a T.D....Anymore comments would be greatly appricatied. thanks
Dirty D it is...no offense meant.
First off, I should state the situation where the oddman gets two of everything is for casual play, and it depends on the player.
Second, that scenario where ANYPLAYER gets 36 aces per round is a stretch...I'd count that as 18, e.g. the # of holes in a round, tops.
Third: I don't think you want to mess with Tejas! :o
Lastly [for now]: No, this isn't an exam, resume', or legal document, but if you take the time to do spellcheck, check your diction, etc., e.g. WRITE CAREFULLY, people will take you more seriously...and you'll get better responses.
Good luck!!

The 36 aces thing is impossible anyway when you are playing doubles. The cali or odd man player is still considered a doubles team. In doubles if it is statistically impossible to improve your teams score then your partner cannot throw. In this case you are your own partner and you cannot throw again.
What I want to know is 2 things:
WHO HOSTED WORLDS THIS PAST YEAR yea thats right NOT TEXAS. OH AND LAST I CHECKED NOT EVEN HOSTING 2005 FOR HAVING ALOT OF DISC GOLF COURSES YOU GUYS/GALS DON'T DO THAT MUCH DO YOU)
Dustin,
You sure seem to talk alot for someone that doesn't know what they are talking about. You seem to be trying to make some point about Texas not hosting worlds in '04 or '05. I would have to ask, what were you and Iowa doing in '94, '95, '02. (No offense intended to the rest of Iowa.)
From the link above:
In the Best Shot, Tough Shot, and Best Disc formats, you do not throw if it is mathematically impossible for you to improve your team's score on a hole. In the Best Shot and Tough Shot formats, the second player does not throw if the first player has holed out. If you are playing Best Disc format and your partner has holed out, you do not throw unless you can improve on your partner's score. Any throw made which cannot possibly improve a team's score on a hole is a practice throw.
Excluded from the above is the 'Worst Shot' format:
In Worst Shot, both players throw from each lie (starting with the tee shot), then the competing teams in the group choose which of the subsequent lies will be used, with the aim of making the hole as difficult as possible. The hole is completed once both team members have holed out from the same lie.
Is there such a thing as 'oddman worst shot'? Opinion: That just doesn't sit well.
why is there no 0 star rating option?
once again thank you for your time. this was ment to get the blood boiling in you and thus make you YES I MAKE YOU REPLY TO ME.
b/c we are a small community and i would all the hatred can go towards something like GET RID OF RED ROCK OF SHAME THREAD thank you for your time.

1) Right mate plz read a little back and you will see how this thread got started.
2)Plz refer to the first quote which was part of what you responded to.
3) Thanks kitten.
I am sorry if you got the wrong impression about my post. Yes I don't know what i am talking about. As I have stated before I am here to learn. Thanks for posting that information.
Thanks for the advice on the spelling in posts. I do admit that I am a very very bad speller. I am sorry ciao.
I have been trying to track down a service so that I print up custom bag tags for my school. If anyone knows any information about this I would love to hear from you. Well I am happy to report that the park board meeting went very well. We went in proposing that we would raise the money to put a "basic course" if the park board saw usage of the grounds then they would possibly upgrade the course. BUT what they proposed was to try and budget the money to put a course in. 2 members of the park board were very excited about getting more courses in the area. Thank you for your time. ciao.

I shouldn't respond to your inane posts/replies, but I will. I know it can be amusing to "stir the pot". But for someone who seems to know almost nothing about disc golf, you shouldn't be so condescending...especially when you are asking the stupidest things and carrying on conversations with yourself. Lose the attitude, pull the stick out of your arse, and act like an apt pupil, even if you're not(apt).
PS. That kitty ***** is one thing when you can hide behind your computer screen, but if I ever meet you in person we'll see who is the "kitty" /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That's got to be one stinky Diaper
So, how does that whole bag tag thing work?
Dirty D, your #240138 post was your most cogent so far...keep it up...I think you have good intentions.
Here's a possibility for tags:

You put it on yo bag homie then someone calls tou out and if it was me i'd take yo ish and not give it back.
Thank you very much. I am getting a bad feeling from the disc golf community at least the part that is online. I will try to stick to some advice that my mother told me along time ago
"If you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything at all"
ciao.
Well I checked out the link you provided and this will certainly work for the bag tags. Has anyone seen the Quad City Disc Golf Club "surfboard" bottle openers. That is the coolest bag tag I have seen yet. Once again thank you for your time. ciao.

anywho here is a memo: go away bad frisbee golfers!!!
I have just returned from my advisor. I was told that it is too late to audit a class. I am however given the option to drop your class. There is no due date on dropping a class. Due to taking on the role of treasurer for the disc golf club (as well as being a disc golf enthusiast) I have found myself in a sticky situation. As you maybe aware I am currently at the maximum allowable absences. I propose the following:
All the traditional benefits of regularly auditing a class applied to my situation. Thank you for your time. Let it also be known that if at any time I would/could participate in badminton I be allowed too.
