Anybody here one of the "600" who's bought this basket:(and I quote)

"NEW PORTABLE Disc Golf Basket ,Baskets (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=20851&item=7100440474&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW)"

I know, I know - it needs more chains... but except for that, it looks pretty decent for 50 bucks, right? (unless only the chains are galvanized steel and the rest is cardboard painted silver) :D

Just wondering if anybody actually knows if it's any good cause this is the first I've seen of this particular target.

It looks kinda like a basket we have on a private course here. I'd have to ask and get back to ya on that for sure tho.

I bought one of those baskets about 2 years ago and it holds up to the elements just fine. I have a pretty large yard so i set up two par three holes one of which has this basket. I do have two problems with the basket though. The chains that came with my basket don't have a closed link so there are sharp ends that can cut your disc. The manufacturer may have changed the chains since then so you might want to ask. The other problem is that the holes that are cut into the metal to make the basket lighter can also cut your discs. I don't want to make a big deal out of that because it has only happened twice in two years. The basket actually is easy to take apart because it is held together with the connecters used to assemble metal conduit. I think that a lot of portable baskets will perform better if you have some kind of counter weight on the bottom of the chains.

Check out prices on the Ching Skill Shot before you buy that one, I love my Skill Shot, extremely portable and nice smaller target, practice on the Skill Shot and then a Regular basket will look huge, it is a wonderful feeling...haha
Good Luck, any basket in the back yard is great for the game, and I think it is a good thing if they have less chains.
Cheers,
