Has anybody bought/used/seen/heard of this thing?

Tommovation Bag (http://sandbaggers.safeshopper.com/71/250.htm?214)

It seems like a pretty crazy idea. I've started searching for a bag now that I have so many discs (that makes two:D). But I can't believe that review - how can you NOT feel 15 discs up and down your leg!

...and how can one expect a normal/symmetrical walking-gait to occur?

i've seen one guy use it earlier this summer, it didn't seem to bother him any. but it just looked like it wasn't for me.

$100!!!! Wow!!!

There are a few people from Pocatello, Idaho that I have played with that used something similar. I am pretty sure it wasn't $100 though. They didn't carry over 6 or 7 discs in it though. One of them even carry's a smaller Innova bag so that he won't have to carry too many discs on his leg.

No. All its going to do is screw up your throw. It's jsut going to slow you down! If you really dont want to carry a bag, get a bucket and a golf pullcart.

or just carry one disc ;)

I saw a couple of older guys using these one time. I was like

I could understand how they would be faster, but I think they would get in your way if you were a really animated thrower, but they didn't seem to be getting in their way.

Looks kinda cool to me. I can see a couple of guys with these bags having a showdown at high noon. The fastest draw in the west!

I think they're awesome. Especially for the casual disc golfer.
However, they should be $30.00, not $100!!!
Had the same thought in the late '70's, but never acted on it.
Disc holsters.

P.S.
On second thought, I'm ****** off a lot at the price. Six pair of panties sewed together under a velcro strap for a hundred bucks?
No.

I don't see why you couldn't get used to it so it wouldn't affect your throw, but it does seem pretty silly.

I've actually played with a couple of guys, one of them a couple of times, who used these things. I was very curious so I asked a lot of questions.

I was repeatedly told that they did not slow down the motions or get in the way for either of these guys. I was also told that despite looking like they'd be bulky that these were quite comfortable and that after you wore one for half a round, you'd forget it was there.

Not sure what sparked this thread or renewed interest, these have been around for about 3 years. They've never really caught on, but I'd love to have one for casual play. Not for a freakin' $100, though. Pass on that price.

thers a local around here that wears one on his leg during play and he loves it.. it doesnt seem to affect him at all, but again 100 bucks is pretty freaking ridiculous, my innova tour bag was cheaper than that and is alot more practicle.. this thing is only good to hold discs, what do you do if you want to bring a bottle of gatorade or an extra shirt or something to snack on?

I think that thing is a qualifier for the "What's the strangest thing you've seen on a disc golf course" thread

lame! :D
