this weekend obviously there wasn't enough gators for the am2 division...is it possible with the players that were there to do a rough ratings for the golf course and/or total event so the players have a rough idea how they stood?

thanks in advance...keith

Yes, I believe Garnett has the spreadsheet to do league or single round ratings.

My response is still the same. Plug that info into that league spreadsheet. It will calculate the numbers with fewer than 10 rated players (which the web version won't do) just for fun.

No need to bother me since it's available here on the PDGA site. It's the Excel sheet a little over halfway down the list of downloadable items on the ratings documents page:

If the tournament results page doesn't have the round ratings listed does that mean the rounds won't count? The ratings were showing just after the tournament (Frying Pan Pro/Am) and now they are gone. I need to get up off of the 928 rating I've had for about a year. One of my rounds was a 1010 that should help if it counts.

Rich, when I upload tournament results during and immediately following an event, they are considered unofficial. Only when the full TD report is received and verified by the PDGA office are they considered official. Then there is a waiting period until the next ratings update before the official ratings are calculated and added to the results. The ratings for the Frying Pan will be official and visible once again after the mid-September ratings update. Just a couple of weeks from now.

I guess that's why you are volunteer of the year! Thanks, Steve.

I was wondering why my rating has not been updated since the May 15 update?

Thanks,

It looks like results have been received for 2 events you played in since May15.

The Hotlanta tournament was too close to the mid-July update to be included. As for the Fire Ant, my guess would be that the results weren't received in time to get them in the mid-July update.

Both of these tournaments should be in the mid-Sept update.

Wow, I could be the best disc golfer in the entire country, (who also has a PDGA rating) if I lived in France, Germany, Holland, or the Czech Republic!

I'm sure this is somewhere on the site but I couldn't find it.

Sometimes a player shoots so far beneath their rating that their round does not get rated. Not bottom 15%. It is a blank space on tournament results where their round rating should be. How many points/strokes beneath a rating does it have to be for the round not to get rated?

I'm asking of course because I don't want the round I shot today to count against my rating.

For the moment, we're not dropping any beyond the usual 15%. However, we plan to make some changes in how we do it next year, but we have to do some analysis and decide among the ratings group what those changes will be.
