Has anyone else thrown any of these? I got a Touchline Under in my Worlds players pack and finally got to throw it on Saturday at Warwick. What a killer disc! Flies (for me, at least) like an ultra fast Leopard. Super quick out of the hand with a slight left to right fade towards the end of the flight. Not sure how long it will last (I only got to throw it 4 or 5 times), but at $8 a piece it won't be too hard to keep a stock of 'em.
I was really surprised by this disc also. It has not made its way in my bag but I can get a lot of distance out of it. It flies like a beast with more glide(wide rim, fast, and understable at high speed). The one I have is 177 and I can turn it over . I couldn't tell if the plastic was going to last so I took it out back and slammed some trees and it held up better the Innova Pro but not as well as champion. I was disappointed to see made in Mexico on the back IMO.

Yes, but I'm sure the burgeoning Mexican disc golf community is happy that they won't have to buy no stinkin' imports now. :D

Discs made in Mexico! What's next? A president made in Austria?
This is just my personal unsubstantiated theory, but they (Wham-O) can probably mass produce these puppies in higher volumes than the other manufacturers, which should (again, my guess) lead to more consistency from disc to disc.

That's quite a jump in logic there, Dan.
You ever see the mass-produced no-name frisbee knock-offs? They consistently fly like crap. :) They'll need some kind of new process to make discs come off the line consistently alike without a lot of manual intervention like it is now.
Yes, Rhett, but at least they are consistent. :)

I thought 176 grams was the max weight for a disc of that diameter to be PDGA approved?

I just picked up a Whamo /Mexico Aviar Type of disc from Walmart recently :( Why does everyone pick on the Aviar  " Still best golf disc ever made". I still need to pick up one of the " 20th Anniversary" versions.
My saying , " Aviar is still the original". 20 YEARS BABY !!!! :D

there is more budweiser produced than any other beer in this country, and A-B has THE highest standards when it comes to making their beer - so much so that other brewers buy used busweiser brew tanks because the quality is so much better than anything else that can be bought.
"mass-produced" and "consistent" CAN refer to the same thing - unfortunately for wham-o and budweiser, their stringent standards are typically at spec to make sub-standard product. (please note i said "typically", im not trying to take a side bash at the new frisbee discs since i have not yet thrown them. I will freely admit to bashing on budweiser though :D )

Budweiser. LOL now that is funny to put them in the same sentance with quality.

The only beer I drink is Budweiser and look where it got me today.
As for the Wham-o "touch hole" line of discs, the putter is great and all the others are for beginners.
I know this thread is old, but I'll reply anyway. I found one of these touchline discs recently and expected it to suck like all the other frisbee discs I've thrown. Mine is heavy, like 176, but is still understable. I'd liken it's flight to a flippy beast or a heavy archangel. Distancewise not bad. Its actually a decent frisbee. It has no place in my bag, but is fun to throw.

Is that a Touchline Under you are talking about? If so, at 176 it is illegal. Sun King was telling me that Wham-O recalled the entire first run. The workers down in Mexico don't know anything about weight limits. They were just weighing them, writing down the weight and shipping. My Under that I got at World's is 178 and it's a Beast mold, making it illegal as well.

Those guys! Don't they know that you are supposed to write the max legal weight on the ones that are too heavy?!?! I sure hope they have corrected that problem :D
I looked at mine today and its a light blue 178 g touchline over. I don't know what the stability of this thing is, but when I throw it hard it goes right, like a sidewinder. Not a bad disc. What makes the heavy ones illegal?

You can buy them in TJ, you also get a free box of Chicklets :D
Well, anyone that has an 'allegedly overweight' touchline under that doesn't want it send me a PM. These things are the best rollers ever.
