Anyone looking for an excuse to make it out to the Northwest for some disc golf? Aug 28th and 29th is the Third Anual Beaver State Fling, and Oreogn's first ever Super Tour event! We're planning a pretty good time for all including 3 separate 18 hole courses (2 at Milo McIver State Park and 1 at Dabney State Park), lunch provided Saturday, A/B pool random draw doubles Friday before the event at Dabney State Park with a player's party to follow at the Tippy Canoe up the Road, Player's Party and Fly Mart Saturday just up the road from Milo McIver State Park (where the disc golf group camping will be). We're taking sign-ups until Doubles start on Friday afternoon (5:00 PM).
You're invited to come out and see where all those Oregon World Camps and top World finishers play!
For more information, please call Cris 503.750.3348 or Teresa 503.750.3372 or visit the Beaver State Fling web site at http://beaverstatefling.orsdiscgolf.com/BSFhome2.htm You can even sign-up on-line at TitleDISC.com.

ALWAYS looking for an excuse to come to the northwest. It is only the $500+ bill that keeps me from making two or three trips a year, Sassy Pants. :)
It's only $432 from Dallas/Ft Worth... even at this late date! ;) It'll be good to see you whenever you make it out Kent :D

Dave made up five strokes in the final 9 to catch Barry. They're about to begin the sudden death playoff and Theo is going to attempt a play by play in the Chat Room (http://www.pdga.com/msgboard/chat.php) .

Barry and Dave take it three holes deep in the sudden death. Dave misses a 35 footer on the third hole (just like the one he made in the final 9 to tie Barry). Yet another victory for the great Barry Schultz.

Thank you Steve for covering the playoff! Another feature we need added to the pdga.com live scoring system (yeah, it's on my "wish list"). What an exciting final 9! Major battles in Open and Pro Women, with a playoff finish. Tighter competition than I've seen in a lot of National Tour events!
Oregon's first SuperTour was an incredible inaugural event, thanks to tons of hard work from many people, including Cris and Teresa Bellinger, Todd Andrews, the Portland Rocs (Patrick Buckley, Aaron Kischling, Dustin Milbrodt, and others), and many, many others (I know I'm missing many) that were acknowleged at the event. The weather was spectacular (after 10 days of the worst rain in Oregon in years - contributing to challenges getting the courses ready). Barry, Brad, and many other top pros visiting from California and other places, and great representation again (as in Des Moines) by Oregon and Washington players.
Congrats everyone, and hope you can come next year!
