Ben and Brian,
What tees will be used by the palyers for each round. Alt, concrete or a combination :D
When is the players meeting? When does the first round start? When does the second round start? :D:D
Can I sign up Saturday morning :D, I know I can read, but it's so much fun to ask the questions, when you know the answers.
Seriously though, Thanks guys for putting this one together. Do you need any NTDGC help?

I was wondering when info for this tourney would finally get posted up here... although it doesn't appear to be a PDGA event. It also doesn't appear to be listed on titledisc.com.
Is this going to be a PDGA-sanctioned event? Either way, I'd like to play... so how do I sign up? Also, is there only going to be one division for women? My better half would like to play, too.
Saturday Schedule
Tourney Registration
8:00 - 9:00 a.m. (you can also sign up on www.titledisc.com (http://www.titledisc.com)

stay at home and talk to your self :D
I will play pro just to shut all of you up
I could careless if i place last!!
There is no reason why i cant compete in the pro division at my home course!
I shot a -10 from all shorts today
and a -6 from all longs
That would win Advanced :D:D:D:D
okcacehole
Aug 16 2004, 05:43 PM
That would not win advanced during the past 2 years and I would love to see you play pro, take last place cash and get stuck playing PRO from there on out...GO FOR IT :p

Glad there will be a place for you to play.
so, what about the PDGA sanctioning? Did that happen? and what about the Womens' divisions?
This is a non-sanctioned tourney and there are women's divisions to be offered - Hopefully more women will show... this is the course to bring your women friends out and have a good time...
What divisions are paying cash and which ones are paying discs??
I am sure your just paying pro cash but i was just curious!
I didnt know since this isnt a PDGA sanctioned event!!
See most of yall tomorrow at the mini!!

sorry. this might be a silly question but who is Alex Clark? I looked on the thread but didnt see an answer. :(

Aug 24 2004, 11:33 AM
He was a disc golfer that lost his life (not sure how)...he has a brother that played last year, won his division and aced. His family is very supportive of disc golf and was probably the main driving force behind having McKinney turned into the course it is today. They show up for the tournament each year and stay all day. Great people.
I am sure someone with more history can fill in the blanks I missed

Aug 24 2004, 12:11 PM
The family is responsible for turning the course into 18 holes. They also required the name change and a tourney every year in his honor. I beleive this is correct.
Gotta keep this thread alive...so it dosnt get all the way to page five!!
I guess i will just have to play intermediate and win it and then play advanced next year :D:D
Ben or Brian....if you need any help with running the tourny like setting stuff up....let me know!!

ordering discs on monday, anyone have any requests??????
If you post it, I will try to get it. (it has to be a disc i can order from Circular Productions, in other words a current disc available for sale)
YES, Gateway Wizards and any revolution bags if you can get them!!
But definetly try to get some gateway wizards and some stratus!!
Thanks Bryan

How about some 2nd run Pro Orcs and Pro Classic Rocs along with a box of 1st run CE Valks :D
Thanks Bryan

Aug 30 2004, 11:40 AM
I know it's a bit late, but if you see this...
I'm not sure if many people on this board (myself included) know what can be ordered from the folks at Circular. I know I'd love to see Gateway discs in payout, especially the midranges and putters. As far as Innova goes (the only thing I KNOW CircP carries) Super Rocs are always good as well as Pro Orcs and all the newer, relatively less common Innova discs. there's my input :)

Aug 30 2004, 12:33 PM
Houck carries everything at Circular Productions.
Hey josh this is john do u still want those three time aviars? cause i can bring them to the alex clark tourney. Give me a price.
Ben or Brian, are we going to get some baskets and put like 3 or 4 more holes like what we did at the tourney that chris himing put together. If so I have talked to some people that would bring their baskets so we could do that!! Let me know!
Did someone replace the basket on hole #12? I was out there a couple weeks ago and it was missing.
Some "kids" had loosened it up and it was so loose out of the ground you could have pushed it over, before someone took it, because it was easy for someone to take it at night just drive back there and throw it in your truck, so the city came and picked it up, and they put it back in monday! The city is great with keeping alex clark very manicured and free of trash!

Got the discs in today.
I tryed to order some Gateway disc, but when i called, he put me on hold for 15 min so I just said forget about it. (Circular Productions only carry Innova, Discraft and Millinium)
I will have at least 5 of every Champion disc available right now this weekend. Get there early if you want to purchase one.
How many alternate or temporary holes are we going to have?
All the divisions from Advanced and up are playing one short round and one long round.
Intermediate and the Novice divisions are playing both rounds short i guess!!
Weather is looking good for the tourney - and the course is looking great as always... looks like another good weekend for this tourney...
Some Info:
We will be most likely putting in extra holes for the tourney - but they will be a bit different than you've seen before...
The format will be all longs and all shorts for the Pro's and most likely the Adv divisions, the Ams and Nov's will be playing from the shorts twice...
We'll be out at the course tomorrow for doubles and signups starting at 4pm...
And yes - the paint will be back this year so you won't have to worry about playing from the ditch...
Cya out on the course!

must have missed this one.
SCORES ??? Please :D
Heres some scores for ya....
Coures had 3 alternates - 1 medium birdy hole, 1 "two shot - good 3" hole, and one "tough birdie - routine par" hole. MPO, MA1, and MM1 shot all longs then all shorts, everyone else shot all shorts.
We had a great time, the cities support was great, and fun was had by all.
