I'm on my was to Destin Florida for a few days. Is there a course in Destin? I see the course directory has the closest at Gulf Breeze which is about 45-50 miles from where we are going to be staying. Anything closer to Destin?? I have internet access when I get there, so I'll check back in 6 hours...

Don't go to the Gulf Breeze course. Pure CRAP!!! "Two holes on an island," more like 2 holes in the middle of a swamp! "Back 9 are wooded skill shots." Pure BS!! Its a field with a ton of trees. You just criss cross back and forth accross the field. Trees are random and dense. No trees have been cut out of there. Its not skill, its pure luck. PURE BS COURSE!! Don't waste your time!

I had 100X times more fun tossing a Dragon around in the ocean with a friend...

I just got back from vacation in Ft Walton and am sorry to say the only course close is the Gulf Breeze course.

I have to agree that it is not the best course ever made, but people put their time and effort into this project and for that they are to be applauded.

I took the drive out there to play, but did not stay too long. the course needs some tweaking and I would have to say that foe me it was probably not worth the 40 - 45 minute drive it took to get there but for someone else it might be ok.

Don't get me wrong if you want to play..PLAY but if you are looking for a championship caliber course this is not the course for you.

I look forward to the day that Ft Walton or Destin puts a couse in since we vacation there every year.

I live and work in Gulf Breeze and I am very thankful for the course here. I haven't played many courses, but I think they've done an excellent job of utilizing the allocated space. Additionally, the course pro and the regulars are overly friendly and extremely helpful. I have absolutely no complaints. Alternative courses in the area include the navy base in Pensacola, FL, driving an hour or so to Mobile, AL and a small course up near Brewton, AL.

I would also like to see new courses in Ft. Walton and/or Destin, but until that day comes I have a blast on the Gulf Breeze course just about every afternoon and weekend. :D

HEY AT LEAST THERE IS A COURSE THERE. NO REASON TO BE A PRICK ABOUT IT.
