I'm going to be in D.C. for a couple of weeks and looking to play. Anyone want to hook up and play? Or will somebody point me to a link of courses/leagues/players in the area? Thanks.

It depends on where in DC you will be staying, but the closest courses are probably Mclean and Bluemont (Virginia) and Calvert (Maryland). I suggest going to the message board on the Calvert site ... http://www.calvert-dgc.com/ ... to see what kind of local action is happening on a daily basis. Calvert has doubles every Tuesday night. I'm not sure if there is an active website for action at Northern VA courses or not. If you have the chance to get out to Seneca (Gaithersburg, MD), they have doubles on Wednesday night and the course is well worth the trip up I-270.

Good info from Danny. FYI the Calvert Road course in College Park is about a mile from the College Park metro (subway) stop. Of course if you have wheels you will be even better off and able to check out Calvert, Seneca, Rockburn, Druid Hill, Pine Grove, Goucher, maybe even Paw Paw. If you have Internet access while here you can always post on the Calvert message board and pick up a game, or set up a game in advance with a PM.

And there's always the Tour stops posted on the Maryland Amateur Tour thread. :D
