In a couple weeks, me and a few friends will be making a trip to europe to go backpacking for about a month. What i'm wondering is if would be worth our time and packing space to bring along a disc in case we find a course? We plan on spending time in southern france, northern italy, various parts of switzerland and germany, belgium, and prolly london or maybe scotland. I've been browsing through the directory here at the site, and there are a few courses, but i'm unsure how easy they would be to find.

So is there anyone from those areas that could recommend some courses? or anyone who's been to europe could let me know how easy it is to find courses if you have played there?

Thanks a bunch.

i'd say it's not to hard to pack 1 disc just incase(put it on the bottom)

just browsing through some of englands courses i found out why england is still such a great country. Whitecombe park, quote from course description: "Sheep are OB"

: ) :

you have to love a land where any young man can grow up to become queen.

If you're going to be in Switzerland, get in touch with me. (I'll be in Bulgaria between June 11 and June 25). I know all of the courses near Zrich and Winterthur and might even be able to put you up for a couple of days. (I'll have to clear that with the wife, but it shouldn't be a problem.) You can send an e-mail to the address listed in my profile and let me know what your plans are.

At the very least, I can give you directions to some courses.

The more I think about it, I think it would be easy to just throw a disc in the bottom of my pack just in case. So prolly gonna end up doing that. I'll need to go through the PDGA site when we get our final itenerary done hopefully later this week.

And thank you very much for the offer, Switzerdan. I sent you an email. Hopefully we can work something out.
