we will be installing a new 9 hole course in kaw city in the next couple of weeks. we're waiting on a check then its off to innova and then they'll send us 9 new ones to be stuck in the ground. i'll post back once its in.

Where is Kaw City?

kaw city is about a 15 minute drive northeast of ponca city. ponca city is about 20 miles from the kansas border.i think i'm going out there to finalize the layout today so it should be good. :D

i went and looked at the land and layout yesterday and i have to say that this course is going to be one of the best 9 hole courses around.

I've been playing this course lately and its really quite challenging, 4 holes are cut out of the woods and 5 are challenging more open shots. this course uses good elevation on the land and hopefully the city will have 9 more discatchers put in this year. with the right layout 9 more could make this course a real gem. if anyone is interested in playing this course and possibly Ponca Lakeside (which will host a C-tier in augst) just PM me for directions and maybe i can show you around.

also, i think i am the only person who plays this course unless there is some players in kaw city that i just have yet to run into. kind of odd i think.

I-35 north to poncacity/tonkawa I-60 east, to US-177/14th st north, to kaw city OK-11 exit east .then take the highway 11 miles then you'll be in kaw city keep going east till you see the citgo and then the pioneer park sign is right down the hill. take the road all the way to the beach and then you're there. you will need someone to show you the course as there are only markers on the ground which can be quite difficult to find on a few holes. also i highly suggest playing ponca lakeside here in ponca city. let me know when you're headed up this way.
