Played Z-Boaz today with Robert Leonard aka MTL! :D
We had a great time. He is in town from NC for a basketball tournament at TCU. Hopefully, their team will win so I can show them around the almighty VET tomorrow morning!!!! :D
P.S. -- Don't ask him what he shot. I will just say that in his battle with the "Texas Wind", he lost bad! :D:D:D

yeah...just got back,,,cuz we lost.....
Z-Boaz ROCKS! Holy Crap I had so much fun.....I shot 66, but like Mr. Roc said, I lost the battle with the wind. There were holes I shoulda just thrown a Roc on the tee and would have normally.......but as I told Danny....."I didn't travel 1300 miles to lay up"

I tell yall, Danny is a great player....dude don't miss putts..and it was windy as hell.....I mean a freakin Tornado came through the area later that day....
anyway.....Danny said something to me the I took really seriously and will never forget. I was playing awful and I told him man I'm playing horriable. I don't want you to think that I'm all talk and I really suck. He said "its pretty obvious when good golfers have bad rounds"

Rob's putting style isn't fit for wind. Other than that, hes a solid player.

the practice/stations basket near the entrance... mace made an impassioned plea to find it, so if you hear or see anything, yadda yadda.

It is unfortunate but true. Some selfish
[email protected] decided that he needed to take "his" practice basket home with him. I say "his' because that course belongs to all of us, even the stupid people. So if any of you know any of the stupid people, and they happen to have a Discatcher that has been altered from a long pole to a short pole please feel free to RAT them out.
In case anyone wonders, the city of Fort Worth will not be replacing the basket, we will be replacing it.......again. That course was installed by the players for the players. Anyone with info needs to call the police and turn in the thief.
It's been a while since I played the Z, but once you find the thief, aren't there some nice secluded areas where you could plant him UNDER a basket? Object lessons work quite well. :)

doubles are thursday and sundays, at 6:00 btw
I have heard that there is not much interest in team golf in the sw fort worth area. However I am interested in some team competition. I don't know where to get any info on team golf. Any suggestions on where to go on the web, or people to get in touch with?
