New players are always welcome. The top three places in the Recreational division always win a disc�guaranteed! (Even if there are only 2-3 players)


Every ace will win a free Ching Skill-Shot. There will also be an optional $2 ace pot ($1 carry over and $1 CTP if no aces).


Closest-to- the-pin prizes.


Free lunch! (Chips and sandwiches for all players after the singles round).


Payouts: Cash for the Pro division. �Pick your own� merchandise for all other divisions.


Sign up is open from 9:00 until 10:00 with a 10:15 am Tee off.



Morning Round: Divisional Singles:



Entry Fees: Recreational: $5 + Greens fee

Intermediate: $5 + Greens fee

Advanced: $7 + Greens fee

Open $10 + Greens fee



Amateur divisions pay top half, pros top third.





Afternoon Round: Pick your Partner Divisional Doubles:



2:15 Draw - 2:30 Tee off

Entry Fee: $5 per player

Optional $2 ace pot with $1 carry over and $1 CTP if no aces.





From Austin: Take 290 west through Dripping Springs. About 6 miles past Dripping Springs, turn left on RR 165. Go 8 miles, and turn left on FM 2325. Circle R is 3.2 miles on your right.



From San Marcos: Take RR 12 west to Wimberley. Turn left on FM 2325. Circle R is 12 miles on your left.

Sunday at Circle R Disc Golf Ranch is the last of the Winter Ranch Minis hosted by Waterloo DGC!

It will be a two-round, one-day singles event.
Lunch will be available @ $5/person
Entry: $25 Pro
$20 Am
Sign up by 9:30am. We'll tee off at 10am, break for lunch, then start the 2nd round.
There is NO camping at Circle R right now, due to the burn ban. Normally, camping would be 'included' in your entry, but since there's no camping, we'll have a surprise, thanks to the Circle R staff, for all players who come out.

Just a reminder that this Sunday, December 3rd is the club�s first Winter Ranch Mini of the season: Circle R in Wimberley

And as a special treat, we will be including the 9 brand new holes first introduced for Texas Teams! Don�t miss your opportunity to play these new holes at the Ranch.

Because we are including the new 9-holes, we�ll need to start right on time in the morning, so don�t be late in getting out there.

Also, Patty Justice will be making and selling lunch that day. $5 for a sandwich and chips (and maybe some soup or something hot � not sure about that just yet). And if you remember last year, you�ll know that Patty makes a mean sandwich :D Just sign up and pay for lunch at the same time you sign up for the mini. She may have some extras for those who don�t order in the morning, but if so it will be first come first served.

This will also be an opportunity to renew your club membership for 2007 AND to renew your PDGA membership for 2007. Because Waterloo DGC is an Affiliate club, if you are a current club member for 2007 you can join the PDGA or renew your PDGA membership and receive a $5 discount. You can also allow take the PDGA officials test at no cost and receive a 10% discount at Discovering The World, an online disc golf vendor. (http://www.dtworld.com)

The PDGA membership forms must be submitted in bulk. If you are interested in renewing your PDGA membership through Waterloo, the form isn't yet up on the club website, but should be soon. Until then, just PM or email Lou or myself and ask for one. Just download the form, fill it out, and give it to us with your Waterloo membership renewal / joining.

The first batch of renewals will be sent to the PDGA on December 15th. The PDGA membership forms can be submitted at the Winter Ranch mini at Circle R on December 3rd or mailed to the club�s PO Box. There will be a couple of more chances to renew your PDGA membership through the club in January and February, including the Ranch Minis for those months as well as the Ice Bowl.

Checks or money orders for PDGA membership will need to be made payable to Waterloo Disc Golf Club and can be combined with your payment for Waterloo renewal fees. Please contact Lou Moreno by PM on the DISCussion Board, by email at [email protected], or by phone at 389-1853 for more information on renewing PDGA membership through the Waterloo Club.

If you aren�t yet a Waterloo Club member, take advantage of the membership drives at the Winter Ranch Minis and save another $5 - $10. Player Memberships will be $15 (instead of $20) and Supporting Memberships will be $30 (instead of $40). 9 new holes at wimberley??? are they temp or perm, and on what course and where? you're getting me excited to make a trek down there. :)
