Hey. Christmas is coming. For that matter, Channukah, Kwanzaa, and Ramadan as well. Check out the wares I have at:
www.cafepress.com/churchofdisc (http://www.cafepress.com/churchofdisc)
Yes, there are collared shirts. And for the lady in your life, the always popular baby-doll t-shirt and the classic thong. Lots of other stuff as well.
As always, a portion of the proceeds goes to disc golf promotion in central Iowa.

I think the thong should simply say <FONT SIZE=" 1">pole hole</FONT>.
I'm patenting that... any proceeds shall be directed to me.

Since this is the shameless self-promotion thread, I would like to remind all of you of the valuable service I provide to you by monitoring this DISCussion board and commenting on nearly every thread. I will gladly accept the collared shirt (size XL) and the big coffee mug from Special K's store as tokens of your appreciation.

Since Special is shamelessly promoting himself I may as well do the same, again.

Okay- help a brutha out...I'm new to the whole ebay selling bit, and seems I did not put "disc golf" in my heading for the discs I'm selling, and fear that they are not being seen by the masses...THought I would plug these sweet dye jobs here, and maybe somebody will find a home for them...

go into ebay and revise your items. you can revise the title of the item as long as there are no bids and more than 12 hours left on your auction.

Reese,
May I suggest the muni course in Tenison Park in Dallas? Beautiful park, lots of elevation changes. The Lightning (DG) Open was held on a temp course in the park in the late 1980s, but not on the BG course.
I'd play it!
Tejas will be a challenge because of the plethora of courses, of which precious few are pay to play.
Thsnks 3w- i appreciate that!
I'm on it Vinnie!
smell it. /msgboard/images/clipart/proud.gif
I can't spell either....

Frisbee Sports & Games book by Charles Tips and
Dan Roddick, from 1979, what's it worth?
It's not for sale, (at least not yet). A fellow golfer bought this at a garage sell for $3.50, wondering how valauble you think it is?

I don't think that book is out of print, so it shouldn't be hard to find a new one.

I'm pretty sure that book is way out of print.
In good shape it should be worth $20 or more.
The first one Tipps did, was Frisbee by the Masters. Check out some of those tourney pix in both of them.
In Sports and Games, my favorite are the pix on pg. 20/21.

I found the same book at a used book store for 3 bucks.... Its pretty cool... good find!
Good place for this message:
As many of you know AT&T gave me the option of transferring somewhere in the US to maintain my career 9 months ago, and I went to Charlotte NC. I spent 8 miserable months there (the job sucked) and saw my wife 2x as she visited. I loved all my disc golf friends who really did make my time away from week pleasant and I thank-you all VERY much.
Then again as you know I have been given the same option again of finding work somewhere in the US. Princess (my wife) has asked I give up looking, and just stay home in Michigan till she retires in the next few years. She wants me to actually find another job? Can you believe the audacity of that woman?!?!?!?
Guess what I told her? Princess, I think I can actually make the website so profitable, that my hobby will become my job! Yeah right was her response.
You know what is coming next I imagine. This will be the only time I ever post this message because I do not think this forum is a commercial stomping ground. Starting this Monday my website will be pay only. If there are disc golf photos you like looking at (mostly yourselves I imagine) download them
I will probably ask for a small forced donation for access. $1.00 for one day, $5.00 for a month and $10.00 for a yearetc
I hope you all understand, and I am sure those of you who do try to maintain a website know how much work it actually is. Alls I am trying to do is to take what I love doing and make it my career
Hope to see many of you at the Am Nationals

FYI, the PDGA frowns on any misuse of its official logo. Morgan got warned for this a few years ago.

That may explain why Gregg has resisted using it. I can make some subtle changes though.
