PULL EASE!!!

And some people have the nerve to say I need a life because I like posting to this mess bored.

Can't you find something better to do with your lives than bring minutia like this to our attention!?!

Ooooo, how scandaluous! An inner locking mini! Call the marshalls!!!

Great God Almighty! Have mercy on us all!

Jun 21 2003, 01:54 PM
Well, if you want to report that as "Drug paraphanelia" , you woudl have to report anything, that seals.....hell, even the pocket of your pants, could be termed as that, by that defenition.

ANY everyday item, can be perverted in some fashion, and used for "qeustionavble" uses.

And Tommy Chong was selling glass flower vases.

I agree this is not worth debating, but please drop the lame "maybe they were smoking tobacco out of that glass pipe" crap. We all know what goes on at the course and what the intent of the interlocking mini is.

Tommy would need the candy shark inside the condor.

Yeah, Scott, I would say that your post is in your top five stupidest posts (not post's, which is a possessive).

If you were referring to this thread I started, why do you think that it is so stupid??

Jun 24 2003, 12:17 AM
When people see mine, they will say something like cool,or rightous. and to return my thanks everyone goes home happy and joyful. And, I never bring it out at a PDGA sanctioned event, so everything is kosher.

Turn and Burn --------------------- -- _

Jun 24 2003, 12:19 AM
I agree. The name is DUMB, the products are DUMBER! Who wants to keep a mini in their hat?

On the other hand, Bill who looks at the discgolf stuff on E-bay besides golfers? You are trying to make a bid deal out of nothing. Let it go bro!

Jun 24 2003, 04:12 AM
As soon as I noticed this informative post, I rushed on over to ACEHole.com

I liked the company, & the name ACEHole so much.
I bought them both. Rich Myers & I got together, pooled our resources, & Viola !

Now, I'm addicted to those .25oz free SpeedWax samples.

Thanks Bill.

Jun 24 2003, 02:36 PM
Droll, Scott, very droll (or should I say, troll...).

Stan, nice catch on the viola/voila switch. I didn't see that one. I'm still recovering from Nick's post that has minutia (s/b minutiae), scandaluous (scandalous) and marshalls!!! (preferred spelling is marshals!!!)

Call the literate!!!

Jun 24 2003, 03:05 PM
You know, the fact of the matter is, this subculture exists within the game. You are not going to make it disappear no matter how much you post on this board, just ask law enforcement who I am sure have tried much more proactive measures.

However, this does provide an opening for the smoker vs nonsmoker thread again. I don't believe that its been active for at least a year. I sort of miss lurking in those arguments, they're funny.

Jun 24 2003, 03:51 PM
It must be my fault. Every sport I have played has the same subculture (Soccer, Racquetball, Tennis, Ultimate, Disc Golf, Softball, Rugby, Snow Boarding).

Jun 24 2003, 04:42 PM
The double minis are for SKINS MONEY!!!!

Sheesh...you bunch of POTHEADS!!!

Jun 24 2003, 05:20 PM
what's a pothead?

what I do know is those minis look like cr*p and would be embarrassed to even break it out in front of someone. Have you ever tried to get two of those hard minis apart? Dust in The Wind comes to mind.

Is that how you boys get down in SoCal, Rhett? I wanna play a round with a dude who breaks out a Condor and Shark stuck together. Yeah, mon.

Jun 25 2003, 04:09 PM
Mr Bill,I think the post was stupid because you are giving disc golf a black eye for talking about issues like this on the discussion board. All you are doing is preaching from your band wagon on
an issue that you are against and you want everyone to feel the same way you do.So what if, (his friend likes to carry his greenery in his). What's the big deal? If he get's put in jail or
disqualified from a tourny then he has to deal with the choice he made, not you. We have more important topics we can be discussing here instead. As for my spelling, that's not a big deal either. I see words spelled wrong a lot on this board but I know what was intended. Did you make me feel dumber than you? "NO"
I guess I hit a nerve with my top five stupid post message.I said the post was stupid not you.
Maybe trivial would have been a better word to use
but it would not change my opinion on this matter

Jun 25 2003, 06:24 PM
Sufficed to say...

Watch out for the Spellchecker.

You need to get out more Bill.

Rabble!

Jun 25 2003, 11:58 PM
Black eye may be over the top, but in principal, I agree with Bill. When we start promoting tools to use to carry our pot on the course during a round, we are confirming the same damaging stereotype that many of us (I count myself among this group) are trying hard to eliminate. Those of you who don't get it, just aren't bright enough to figure that out, OR you're not really interested in seeing it change. Either way, the opinions of those folks really don't matter much to me.

As for Ace Hole, anyone that promotes a "wax" that guarantees to add distance to your drive and a baseball cap with a dorky mini pocket in front, deserves whatever press they get. LMMFAO. What a Load O' Crap. /msgboard/images/clipart/proud.gif

yeah, yeah, some of us party and some of us don't...I have no idea if this indivduals speed wax, two minis stuck together, shirts with mini holders and hats are any good or not, but let the guy have a try here...We formed a club in Oklahoma City in 2001 and it was named the OKC ACEHOLES...the name isn't a "black eye" and the products are up to the buyer. The name is never good (for club purposes) when trying to entice local organizations...its witty, but offensive to the norm. For a company: Let him have his shot, hopefully he was smart enough to copywrite it, though I am glad I didn't

Dec 22 2004, 09:23 AM
Over a year ago I tried to buy some of those ACEhole hats that you could put a mini in. I sent them a check for the hats and I never got the hats or my money back. :( After several e-mails and even phone calls they sent me some stickers and a few things of that speedwax but no hats. I never did get my hats or money. I know you want this thread to die but I just had to give my $.02.
