Does anyone have suggestions? I've heard several things like Acetone, but none work quickly and very effectively. Thoughts? Thanks!
don't use acetone from finger nail polish remover. go to the hardware store and buy maximum strength acetone. wipe on, wipe off. very little effort.

We had some nail polish remover at home. So before spending money on "the good stuff" I tried it on an Innova TeeBird with a white stamp. Using a cotton rag, the stamp came off with little effort. Maybe it just depends on the stamp?

It depends on the plastic. The stamps on the Z, and CE plastic come off with ease.

I would add/guess that the older the disc is, the more the hot-stamp has adhered to the plastic, due to temperature fluctuations, etc...
b-12 chem tool and rags for taking off the entire stamp. q tips to take off partial, rinse when done. auto store for the b-12.

For KC and CE plastic, laquer thinner is great.
CASCADE...
Its alittle more gentle than b-12 and paint thinner. Just put a small amount on the stamp and spread it around, then wait a few minutes. Then take a small plastic bristle brush to get down into the molding grooves. Rinse and enjoy /msgboard/images/clipart/proud.gif.
It has worked on every disc but one and that was a 9X KC Aviar. I'm glad too, because I like the ring stamp. It did make the platic look like new.

From the looks of things, there's a magic date in 03 that everyone registered. I'd guess a upgrade to the boards added the registration date in 03 and it defaulted to that day.

low-tech method that works pretty well for me is a brillo pad and some ajax. When it was recommended to me I didn't think it would work, but it's actually a pretty quick way to get printing off a disc.
