There was a box of a hunnert blank bright yellow CE Aviars found at Innova. They were from last year, not a new run. And yes they are really CE Aviars from last year. Half were given Pro Worlds 2002 stamps and half were given 2002 U.S. Masters Stamps. I know this for fact. I did not see it in a movie.
Your CE Aviar is a real CE Aviar. /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif And they fly pretty dang straight!
Seewhere, heh hows it going buddy? I guess what i meant to say was i have 3 Q-JLS's in the bag, 2 Q-MS's in the bag and one Q-Omega so i LOVE the Q plastic and think they definitaly need to make the Sentinel in Q and the LF (which the 2.6 run is already 50) in Q and we're golden. Man, i'm not even sponsored by Millennium, just throw all their stuff...sponsorship couldn't hurt though... :-D

Josh, get some medical help for your recurrent hostility issue. It comes up way too often. Chill down and have a Miller moment. Smoke a plant, do whatever it takes.
I can comment about your comments last year that were about things that didn't concern you and you didn't know anything about, involving Buff 16. You were wrong. As it turns out, on a perfectly windless day, anybody who can throw 325 on level ground can outdrive that peninsula easily. If course, windless days don't happen too often there. Almost never, in fact. But when they do even YOU can throw past the right corner of the peninsula, easy. /clipart/happy.gif Piece of cake.
Morgan-
I've been playing for 23 years and used to be able throw reeeally far, and guess what? Yer full of crap on the Buffumville thing. I did see a kid from AZ park it 25 feet out, but he crushed it- I mean flat cucrushed it. I was a HUGE anhyzer over the land and then WAY out over the water, finally coming back to the land. And there was a left to right tailwind. And he was 25- from AZ. We love ya man, but give it up. Have a moment, smoke a plant, tuck some more of those little bits of construction paper between your cheek and gum, but give it up.

The whole stigma of how hard that hole is to reach is based on the fact that there's always a headwind there, and that's why that hole is so hard, and that's why so few people ever hit it. But I think lots of people would be reaching that hole all the time if there wasn't always such a strong headwind there. All the guys I've seen crush that hole and wind up deep into the lake do so because of the constant headwind, most of those guys would reach the end of the peninsula otherwise. I've seen groups of 4 and 5 strong guys crush shots with plenty enough power to reach that pin, throws that would go 400 on level ground, but they all wound up plunking their discs out in the middle of the lake to the right. That's not because the hole is too FAR, it's because a 90 foot drop in elevation gives the disc too much time for the wind to play with it, so zoom, out into the lake it goes.
It also turns out that the right side of the end of that peninsula is nowhere near as far as the middle tip of it (where the bench is), like 100 feet less, but from the tee pad it looks like the end of the peninsula is straight and so the right side looks as far as the middle part. What I remember doing was throwing about 50 feet past the end of the peninsula on the right and thinking the pin was right there, the disc was way over the water and then hooked left a little and clipped over land on the right side and then went past it and into the water again. Well now I've played there a few times and the pin is farther than the right edge of the peninsula. I think my disc went about the same distance as the pin though, and there was NO WIND when I played it. And I almost did it twice that day.
If you are ever there on a really calm day (which almost never happens) you would see what I mean, and how easy it is.
I think it would be easier to reach that hole from the bottom of the dam than the top! At least from the bottom you aren't throwing into a gale wind.

Hole 16 at Hyzer Creek is 600 feet with a 60 foot drop (compared to 575 with a 90 foot drop at Buff 16). But it's an easier throw because there's almost never any wind.
(I've never reached it, but Buff 16 in the wind is totally impossible to reach).

hey mitch hows it going with you?? Good luck in your next tourneys.. kick some arse and get revenge from worlds.. later
Wind in you face on 16 on Buffumville? when?
The wind's blow from the right most of the time (Northwest)Its in your face on hole #1. I think the drop is much less than 90 feet. My best throw on level land is about 380 feet, That throw from the dam with a good wind will NEVER reach the pin.
but it's sure is fun trying,
Dave

That's for sure. The fun is almost worth losing $7 every time you try (or $12 if you use CE).
Daniel, been playing 23 years? woooooooooooooooow. People your age can still walk?? heh /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif
Chris, i won a local tourny the other weekend and placed tied for 2nd in a B tier this past weekend so my game is definitally infinitally better than at worlds. Heck, there i consistently missed 10 footers /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif Doing an A tier in Pa this weekend. Good luck with whatever adventures you partake in the coming months.

Hole 16 at Hyzer will be open for D contests at the end of this month. If you want to come sooner, bring work gloves and a shovel.
600 feet, wide open, all downhill 60 feet. No wind.
Bring your A arm and your D discs!!!!

Mitch, Augusta is the week before USDGC. The 21st is(was?) TIO. You can qualify there (and I hope you do as I would love to play a round with you and puppy smurf at Winthrop)

Augusta is 12-13..I won't be there though, there is a tournament at Brandywine that weekend that I may go to. I might just take off that weekend and wait till USDGC.
And yeah, I forgot about the TIO. You could qualify there as well.
