No war yet. Hey TWest, when is the next tourny you're hitting and are you going to NY States?

I can't make NY states. I think I will be at NH state tomorrow though. I'll miss FairU as I will be in SC (you should tear up that course). Any luck I'll see you at Sherwood Island. Hope you do well this weekend and at NY States (I tell everyone that I will be on vacation that weekend, but the truth is that I am afraid of playing you - especailly when you were shoes/msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif)

Morgan, I will trade you for a 170ish Sentinel if you still have a spare. I have a 169 that quickly became one of my fav discs, but wouldn't mind a spare. What are you looking for in trade? I don't have too many brand new discs (just a couple of older style Rams), but I have a few that were "thrown once". Just let me know what you're looking for. I will be at Prompton in a couple of weeks, and then at NY States in Oct.

See you at states. I'll try to bring game, which I have been unable to bring to some other courses. (I still have not figured out how to aim between saplings and invisible dead twigs. Thank God Warwick was designed by somebody with smarts and not some Dill Weed with half a brain who thinks it's "challanging" to make people throw in the jungle with no fairways. "Oh wow, I think I'll make my course really hard...I wont cut any trees down!!")

I felt the need to sing the praises of the Aurora MS and this seemed a better place than a new thread. Hope no one minds.

This disc is magic. It flies straighter than anything in my bag except my aviar driver and occasionally my tee-bird and is reliable with any throw I've tried. It gets enough distance to drive on short and medium-length holes and is true enough and soft enough to putt with. Its only drawback for me is a tendency not to stay put when it lands sometimes. I recently scored one stroke over my personal best at a local course using only my Aurora...although the score in itself is nothing impressive; I'm not a very good player yet.

As for its being any other mold...no idea. I have heard it compared to a classic roc, but in flight characteristics, not in shape. It does seem to fly a lot like my friend's XD Putt and Approach, but does not feel very similar.

Hazard,

I agree the MS is a sweet flier. If you like pure flying discs you may also want to try the Comet. These two discs are just plain SMOOTH.....
