haha. got ya! you should feel ashamed right now.
Your wily 'trap' would seem to imply that the victim merely sees the title of the thread, "Joe Millionaire", and discovers only upon entering that they have been suckered into a nonexistent discussion.
Yet in the basic message board screen, the first line of each message is displayed, and thus any potential victim can see your "haha. got ya!" right next to the thread title.
My good sir, this trap is null and void.

Well, my original pick Zora is still in the game. But Sarah is starting to make me nervous. Hopefully Evan is just taking the bennies while he can.
Shoulda dumped Melissa before MoJo, but it was pretty much a toss-up. I'm still reeling over the loss of Alison anyway.
I don't care for theses reality shows but I have a concept similiar to the "Joe Millionair" one.

Wow, what a total shocker. I'm speechless. Kimberley looked like a shoe-in from the start. I can't explain it other than backlash for the incidents during the auditions. Shows how powerful the editors truly are. Julie may be better in the long run, but I doubt it. I think you can bet that Kimberley will be back for the wildcard show. Waiting another week for the next show is torture.
I haven't laughed so hard since Tyson got knocked out by Buster Douglas. Julie has a great pop voice and America aint takin up with no girl that has to make a scene of how sincerely she loves everyone.
Besides...I'm the son of a preacher man. /msgboard/images/clipart/proud.gif
No doubt. Kimberley's looks of pain for competitors, with every comment from the judges, were just over the top. Always the first in line to hug as well.
Julie is trashy in a nice trailer trashy sort of way. Kimberley is trashy in a pretenda slut-ho kind of way. I definitely prefer Julie, I just thought Kimberley was *such* an easy choice for America. High marks to Seachrest for maximizing the pain by repeatedly pointing out what a heavy favorite Kimberley was, even rehashing it with the judges right before lowering the boom. Classic.
And what's with the judges thinking America was going to vote for Heavy D? And speaking of him, if *his* wardrobe is bad, what is that denim patchwork with matching sideways hat abomination that 'Lil Stevie had on? Come on, I'm no Melissa Rivers, but it was not good.
Oh well, looking forward to next week. The *real* Heavy D makes his move, as well as the reincarnation of Rick Astley. I want a duet: Now that we've found love what are we gonna do, with it? I'm never gonna give you up.
I must now go research the rest and make my picks for my fantasy league.

Randy & Rodney's weekly reality TV show updates & reviews!!!
Hey, but you guys forgot to keep us updated on Joe Millionaire and The Bachelorette! And is Survivor on again?
Zora Zora Zora (Out With the Boys) - That's all you need to know about Joe Millionaire. Melissa predictably got shaft. And then got kicked off the show. Sarah and Zora remain. Should be a nail-biting finale next week.
Survivor starts next Thursday. Finally top-quality entertainment returns to fill the dark cold void of winter.
Bachelor* is garbage. Who would watch such fluff?
Julia might go far since she seems to have the 'how to work the camera' part down. Her voice isn't bad, and she maximizes the cleavage pretty well. I don't think too many guys actually vote, but the ones that do will appreciate that.
I hope Rick Astley Jr. gets into the top 10, but the competition is rough next week (Kimberly has a great voice, as does Semi-Heavy D). And for what it's worth, the teenagers (all female) at work all voted for Charles this week, so he may last into the finals.
Any word on whether or not Nikki from last season is back to stripping?
You have female teenagers at work? What am I doing wrong?
Anyway, I didn't know Nikki was a confirmed dancer, though it wouldn't be surprising. On the catch-up show the first night of this season, they said she's "happily running her own Karoake business, weighing record offers and waiting for the right thing to happen" (read: stripping). Actually, it looked like she'd added a couple kilos around the arms and middle since the show, but I'm still a big-time Nikki fan.
If there were a stripper in the bunch from last year, I think it would have to be Ryan 'pr0n' Starr or whatever she changed her name to half-way through the show.
Rick Astley Jr. is going to be hard to beat. There is a manly sexiness behind that Howdy Doody facade.
Speaking of cleavage...
I did manage to catch the helicopter barrel riding on Fear Factor in between the intense drama of American Idol!
Now you're talkin, Fear Factor with the "Chicks only" the other night was titties!!! The blonde should've won, but the ugly tall chick needed the cash for a face reconstruction!!!
Good catch Rodney, I thought I was the only one that foresaw a long future of low budget, straight-to-video nudity for Ryan. I missed the catchup show, did Nikki still wear a belly shirt to show off her stretch marks?
I thought the girl that looked kinda like Christina Christian should have moved on. The guy was nothin special. Also the blonde and all of her glad-handing personally made me sick! I don't know any of the names cause I recorded it and watched it in half the time.
Speaking of getting the shaft, Joe seemed to get some help from Sarah for stress reduction also. I don't know how he will explain it to Zora after the show but who cares, he's a man's man!
barrel riding got my attention too and if I had been running that stop watch......
Lance, you should do that videotape and fast-forward trick with excercise shows. You get a great aerobic workout and it only takes half the time. And afterward enjoy a low-sodium mineral water and some generic acetylsalicylic acid.
I can't believe I never noticed Nikki's stretch marks, but there were people on Dejanews talking about them too. Her tummy was one of her best features. Dang. But I did find confirmation of her dancing career. Very naughty. And nice.
Ryan or Nikki should really do Playboy. It might be their only chance at real money. If Jerri from Survivor Outback can do it, anybody can.
DGD, Fear Factor isn't real. It's kind of like Pro Wrestling. Don't you keep up on this? The 'contestants' are stunt people. The gross outs are a combination of CGI and fake props. Sorry to ruin it for you.
How do they make the insides of the bull testicles so realistic?
Who's talkin about it being real, Now I know you are ***!!! I WAS TALKIN BOUT THE JUGGULARS ON THE SHOW...
Well those aren't real either. Not that I'm complaining.
I don't see why they're such a big deal to you. You can just take off your shirt and look in a mirror.
I wish. If I had those I would never leave the shower!
ahem...
Michael Jackson sure is looking good.
Randy, I think you need some time on the couch./msgboard/images/clipart/proud.gif
Where do you think I'm laying while keeping up-to-date with the pulse of America? Judge Judy is my therapist. Well...her and all the girls on Univision.
Tonights the night./msgboard/images/clipart/proud.gif
Yep...he runs off with the producer because the producer can talk him into anything.
I will give anything, including my remaining ace disc(last hole-in-one disc I have)that Joe "Disc Golfer" Millionaire is gonna pick Zorra night!. She seems like a nature girl that can put up with Joe's dream goal of cashing in on any PDGA event.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
Yeah, you ain't kiddin' Rodney, what a waste of an hour. Based on how slanted the editing was toward Sarah, I gotta guess Zora is going to be his pick. The 'surprise ending' might be interesting, tho. Maybe Zora has some money of her own?
No...Evan is really Zora's mother in disguise. That's why Zora is so squeamish with him.
For the record, my wife's prediction on "the big twist" goes like this.
He picks one.
He tells her he's got nothing, but still asks for her hand.
She either shows up (accepts) or not.
He says, bwwwaaahhhhh, I really *do* have a ton of money.
Possible, but I like Wimm's idea better. Or Zora is Evan's mother. Or their real names are Luke and Leia, and they're brother and sister. Or they're the Osmonds!
ck34
Feb 11 2003, 09:34 AM
He implied on Entertainment Tonight that it's possible he picked one but is currently seeing the other one seriously.
Id bet on Zora, since Sarah seems like its ALL about the $$$$$$. I had my back to the TV most of the show, and got to laugh my *** off, when they ended, and my Girlfriend was ******, when they faded to black.
Im betting the suprise, after the girl either accepts or decline, is that he winds up getting 5-10 mil, for doing the show.
Interestingly (yeah, right), Zora and Alison and one other got together in a bar to watch the show a few weeks ago. A reporter was present and got several quotes.
article (http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=583dac5b.0301091225.539fe341@posting.g oogle.com&oe=UTF-8&output=gplain)
About all I take out of that is that Zora didn't like the women being characterized as gold-diggers, but she never really said she was upset about the lie itself.
My guess is that the twist is all the jewelry he has given out is fake.
I'll tell ya what the surprising twist is gonna be. Melissa has not totally given up on Evan Marry-it. She has been hangin' around the castle in waiting. When Evan does make his choice next week, he will pick Zora, and after she says "What?", Joe will look to Sarah to save his altering ego and quickly choses her. Then from out of nowhere Melissa bursts into the room fighting off security people. She tells Evan that obviously these two were just here for the TV exposure. She goes on by saying, "Evan, those were real tears when I left the castle, and I could care less that you are a bull dozen driven cowboy". See closes by saying....(TO BE CONTINUED..........next week)
A guy called Howard Stern this morning, and said he has knowledge that Zorros' family is FILTHY rich. Thats the twist. Joe picks Zorro! And he is a millionaire./clipart/happy.gif "meister" Personally,I'd pick the other Skank.
you folks really watch that crapola?
whew.
kill your television, already-- before it is too late. :^p
if it were not for the simpsons, king of the hill and the history channel, i'd never turn the darn thing on... oh, and the weather channel.
OK, unfortunately for Clay, Kimberly and Ruben look to be almost sure things after last nights performances. I thought Kimberly was good, but not great, and I wasn't all that impressed with Ruben, but apparently everyone else was. I'd like to see Clay move on since he was the first guy to pick a decent, non boy-band song, but I think the luck of the draw screwed him.
3w, thanks for the advice, but in case you weren't aware, televisions are not living things, they are simply electronic devices of an electro-mechanical nature. I know you think there are real people inside that little box, putting on a show just for you and you alone, but, sadly, you are mistaken. I wish I didn't have to break the bad news to you, but eventually someone would have. Sorry.
Well, Ruben "Big Man" was da bomb, and the girl after him wasnt bad either....
missed the first half of the show, forgetting it was on.
But from the highlights at the end of the show,. Im glad i missed some of them.
I guess I need to get a house, so i can be out putting on my basket, rather than sitting in my pt. ,on my computrer, halfway payign attention to the TV.
/msgboard/images/clipart/proud.gif
Hmmmm, I don't know if Kimberly and Heavy D are sure things. We know what happened with the Sure Thing last week. Buh bye.
I'm with you on Heavy, it was good but I wasn't going to stand or give him a hug.
Kimberly also was a bit too over-the-top for me.
Rick Astley (Clay) was good, but I've cried to "Open Arms" so many times that his different pronunciation of the vowel sounds was really distracting and kept me from enjoying the performance.
Everyone else was not memorable except for the Pixie Chick who went 2nd. Bad choice of clothes and song, but her voice is amazing and she's just cute as a button.
For comedic relief, Simon's retro photos and the Seachrest Sandwich were hilarious. Luckily I have it on tape so I can review at my leisure.
And I'm calling Shenanigans on the stupid half-hour Wednesday show just to review and announce the winners. I'm going to tape it and just watch the judges predictions and the announcement.
Harrumph, I've got better stuff to do than sit around and watch stupid TV shows. Like log on to the nerdbox and set my Survivor Fantasy Team for the week.
Bill -
You're post cracked me up - especially the "TV exposure" line. I live in Indy, Melissa Jo's hometown and she has done every local newscast, radio show, newspaper interview that's been offered! I think she spent more time being interviewed about being on Joe Millionaire than she spent filming the show!
Oh, and three guesses as to what her new aspiration is...
If you guys are watching anything on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. CST other than The Shield, you are either uninformed about the best show on television, don't get FX on your cable/satellite or you're just brain dead. There has never been a TV show that intense with that lack of fear for any topic out there. There's nothing they won't tackle and I've seen big over the top Hollywood movies that can't even compare to the intensity and emotion that show can spark.
Period.
My cable company, discos my Cable a few months back, demanding the $500 of back pay, so i said screw em, and am stuck with standard TV. It doenst bother me much, since i rarely ever watch TV.
Losing the cable modem, is what upset me, for 2 weeks, until SBC got my DSL working, now i could care less.
/msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif
No sweat Cong, just go buy the first season on DVD. You've never seen its equal on TV, that's for sure. Talk about a show that needs a mature content warning, sheesh.
Mark, do you watch 24? I haven't seen the Shield (ain't got no FX) but I have heard it is pretty intense. For my $$ right now (based on what I can watch) 24 is THE best show of it's kind, maybe ever. Every episode is edge of your seat suspense.
I've really wanted to see that show, it just never seems to be on when I'm watching TV. I've heard its probably the best that the four major networks have to offer right now. Of course, that little FX show walked away with all the Emmys and Golden Globes. That's the first time that's ever happened for a show on a minor cable network. This thing's like watching a train wreck. Its horrifying at times, yet impossible to look away from.
Isn't 24 on in the early time slot on Tuesdays? If so, its out for me. The wife takes away my TV privileges when Buffy's on. /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif
Oh and Dan, BTW, I'll tell the Tuna you send your love.
heh heh heh..... /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif
24's on an hour before the Shield, which is on, unfortunately, past my bedtime. I've heard the Shield very good.
24 is very entertaining, if not Great Television, if there is such a thing. My only complaint this year is the stupid Kim story, or lack of one. Glad she's on the show, but maybe they should've just published a 24 Kim Calendar and left out her storyline.
Its probably best that you go to bed before it comes on Rodney. Its usually not too easy to sleep right after watching it. /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif
Yeah, 24 rocks.....interresting idea, that each 1 hr episode, is 1 hour of the story.....

I have not seen one show you guys have been talking about. BUT I do make it home every Sunday night to watch BUFFY at Midnight on Sundays. They just started the 1st season and I have never seen most of them.
Other good shows I have only seen in reruns, Simpsons, King of the Hill, Drew Carry, ER, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Rosanne, Cheers, Frazer and Perry Mason. (Mr. Mason comes on at 2am, I watch it before I go to bed every night)

Oh yea, I did use to take Tuesday nights off to watch Star Trek from 6pm.
6pm Next Generation rerun
7pm Next Generation new season
8pm Deep Space Nine New season
9pm Next Generation rerun
10pm Star Trek rerun
It was bliss every Tuesday that season.
I have only seen 3 episodes of the Enterprise so far. They don't show reruns yet. I use to stay up to 3am on Friday nights to watch all the new Babalon 5 episodes. I got to see all of them 3 days after they were shown in Prime Time.
Now if I someone would show the new season of Buffy after midnight I would be happy. (I just discovered Buffy less than a year ago. Before that I had only seen a few episodes. It took Spike to get me hooked. One more funny note. At Thankgiving, I found out my mom loves Buffy also, this is very strainge if you know my mom.)
Mark, having the Tuna as their coach almost makes me want to jump ship and become a Cowboys fan. The guy is arrogant, conceited, overweight, and hands down the best coach in the NFL in the last 2 decades. Joe Gibbs could rank up there but he didn't do his magic for 3 different teams like Parcells did.
PG, thanks for that post. I am gonna print a copy of it to show that I am not the biggest geek out there. /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif

55 then I had some fun and scored a 95.
OK, so he picked Zora, no surprise there. The million at the end wasn't too much of a shocker either. The producers must not have liked Sarah much, since they did a good job of making her out to be quite the little ho'. Of course, she did give him a BJ, so it wasn't all their doing.
Enough of that silliness, now on to more important things in life. I got 10 bucks on the chick with the purple hair being a finalist after tomorrows' American Idol.
discette
Feb 18 2003, 08:26 AM
The best part of the show was when Sarah told Melissa about the BJ. Did she forget the camera was two feet from her face? I bet the boyz will be banging down her door asking if they can tie her up while she is going down on them.
And puleeaase, Zora came off like an angel, doing work with the elderly, wanting to sell her jewelery to help her dying aunt in Yugoslavia.
Thank God that show is over. I hate to admit it, but I got sucked in two weeks ago, and wish I hadn't. Oh well, when there is no Monday Night Football, what's a girl to do!
Ahhh, sweet Zora, I picked her from the start. Not that it was too tough. FOX did the ultimate in underdog editing when they made her out to be the Fat Girl during the first-episode gown choosing.
On the good side of the editing, though, was the MoJo eyebrow sequence from last night. Hilarious. Also, Melissa's "oh my god" sequence and the "fairy tail" montage were nearly as entertaining.
Now maybe I can concentrate on Idol and Survivor. No picks for this week's Idol, as I go in horribly unprepared. I'm also behind on gossip, but sources tell me that Frenchie gets kicked off the show (next week?) for a rules violation of some sort. Hmmmmmmm.
Yeah, she posed for some pr0n site apparently. I find that hard to believe, but then again people paid money to see Sarah walk around in dirty feet.
I wonder who's name is on that check?. If it's Evan's name, I hope Zora settles the 50-50 thing before there is a break up. I really think things will work out for them . Now for some disc golf PR. We gotta get them out on a disc golf course date when the TV cameras are on them for their "are they still together?" updates!. Good Luck to you both Evan and Zora.
Bill Mikuliewicz
PDGA #7378
Bill (if that's your real name), the check they showed on TV was simply payable to 'Evan and Zora', and it was implied that it was a 50-50 split.

American Idol, was not all that impressive last night, but 24 was pretty good.....
Yeah, Idol was pretty even, and pretty dull, all the way around. I guess I'll go with Pink and Hercules, but it's really a toss up. (s)equoia or whatever her name is might make it in; but even if she doesn't, they'll put her in the wildcard show. The GQ lad that went 2nd started shaky but showed good voice. Ho hum. Good voices all around, but I'm with the judges: Boring.
As for 24, I can think of 2 things in particular that were very nice, even if that line of the story is stupid and exists only for that reason.
Yeah, Rodney. I missed American Idol, but caught 24. I almost fell to the floor when I saw those 2 things in particular. Remind me never to criticize that storyline again.
I would have sworn the Pres. knew his ex was a traitor, but it seemed almost like he dindt, when the NSA dude told him to ask her......he either faked it really well, or truly was [*****]-blinded....
I thought the same thing, Cong, but I guess he wouldn't have told them to give her 'full database clearance' if he knew. I'm suprised that Roger guy actually caved and gave her up so easily, tho.
Roger had been under shock treatments for over an hour, hadn't he? And I didn't think Palmer knew about his ex-.
I thought the fake bomb was a little lame. And what's with the radio static in the Funbag Storyline? Is that just Kazcinski's way of getting her into the basement? Anyway, good episode, but not the best. I wonder if the double-rogue cobra will be some famous actor a la Dennis Hopper last year?
Man, the Chicken Carbonara from Quizno's is scrumptious. Hold the mushrooms of course.
Ok, so I love 24, but they are stretching it more than usual with the 'I just was dead for 2 minutes and got electroshocked for the past hour yet I have plenty of energy to shoot people and drive away' plot line. I like the vice presidential treason thing tho, reminds me of LBJ a bit.
And I think Carmen got a bum rap last night, she sounded pretty good. Josh is horrible and is around only because of the marine thing.
Yeah, I need to get out more.
Two straight eps without Kim. I'm in withdrawl. Color me so surprised the chip is still in danger. Oh wait, that's not surprising.
Carmen and Josh are far below the other 4, though you're right Carmen was fine last night. I think the judges have it nailed. Trenyce The Felon in 4th, then kind of a toss up for 2nd and 3rd, but Heavy D is unmatched.
I gotta guess Clay and Ruben are the top 2. Kimberly has a great voice, but the personality of a damp towel.
I use the Maxim issue from a few months ago to get my Kim fix in, but it looks like she'll be back on before I wear it out.
Trenyce is the best entertainer and who says she doesn't put any feeling into those songs. I just think she needs to quit trying to sing such hard songs and mellow out a little. Friggen Josh has been really bad twice now, off tune for the whole song. I only watch cuz my 1 year old likes the show/msgboard/images/clipart/proud.gif
Carmen wasnt too bad this week, but was horid the last few before that. She shoudl have definately gone, rather than Kim Caldwell, but oh well....hopefully she will earn her WAY excessive vibrato in her voice, is part of the reason she has been bad. Anyone notice, in her goodbye song, there wasnt as much used, and it sounded better? /msgboard/images/clipart/happy.gif
Josh had a bad week, singing a song that had lots of personal meaning to him.
K. Locke is doign real well, Either trenyce or josh will probaby go this week, neither has a shot at Ruben, Clay, or Kimberly.
All in all, they will all do well, in one section, or another, of the recording industry.
I hadnt thought of it until Simon mentioned it the other night, about Clay being more broadway material, than a pop star. Seems lots of people took that as a slam, but in reality, its a compliment, as it takes MUCH more talent to be a Broadway star, than a stupid arsed pop star.
Tough between Ruben and Clay. But if I have to watch Clay's eyes slowly shut while he mouths "thank you" one more time...I'm pickin up a phone and text messaging a vote for Ruben!
....and I sure am happy I don't have to listen to those two blondes anymore....whoooooweeee...that was embarassing.
Josh would be good, singing with Earnest T. Bass's blonde heartthrob on the Andy Griffeth Show.
Although Rhett and Dan are overly dramatic on this issue, watching the "intellect" of Nick and Mills is like watching Don and Mary Jean get in the ring with Lori and Bolo.
