Hey Folks,
Looks like we'll be in Monument (between Denver and Colorado Springs) for a number of days around Thanksgiving. I have checked the directory but would like to get a local perspective on the best courses in the area and playability this time of year. Thanks, JK
In Denver Play Johnny Roberts its a good course with lots of water, in Colorado Sprins either course is good. I live in Ca. but have vacationed in Denver several times and have never been dissapointed by these courses
Play the Arvada course or go to the courses in Colorado springs Edora park or the one on the campus.Used to live there all of the courses should be worth your trip.
Played Johnny Roberts in October of '97. Liked it so much that every time I had a break from business, I was at the course. Met some cool locals there, too.
Beautiful as far as the park and individual holes, but be careful because fairways cross each other. One fairway goes right across a tee pad. Still, I'd love to go back for the tournament one day.
Thanks for the responses and tips. I'll bring some discs and hope to get a round or two in between all the holiday stuff.
JK
Hey John. How's it goin', bud'?
Kent,
Doing fine, thanks. Saw some more of your handiwork at a tourney recently. As usual, very nice.
Take care, JK

What about Westminster, or the Badlands at Camenisch Park? Are either of these courses still open?
I'll be in the Denver area in late September, and would love to get a few rounds in while I'm there.
