Just a quick note....Barry came back in the rain this morning to take the lead and eventually win it all. Took 100 in skins afterwards and donated it all to the new championship course that will go in near Madison, WI. Cameron Todd and Sugar finished T2nd. Branch 4th w/ Mike Randolph. After leading most of the event, Wield fell to 6th.

3 way tie for Pro masters with a MN gentlemen winning. Curt (I bagged because I finished 2nd here last year) won Adv. Juliana (of course) won and also won a single 50 skin. Uncle Joe Weinshel (Rumbletwon TD) won Grand Masters. Des (my AM world Women pick, you saw it here first) Reading from Iowa, won ADV women. Great event, poor weather this morning but overall Duster and Terre and the crew did a GREAT JOB, from someone who didn't cash, Terry Miller PDGA 10738, oh and my hero, Mark Peterson, aced the hole that mattered the most, the one that was good for a brand new Mach III.

no i beleive it was NT to A to B.
not a good lookin pattern.
i think it all went downhill with the NT bein on a holiday weekend in 03. i dont care what tier it is, i will go there every year!
this past i wasnt gonna go till my friend talked me into it with 9 hours to tee off. and we had a 7 hour drive. it was all good, i made it in 5. lol.

It is unfortunate what has happened to the mad city open over the last couple years. I also agree that having it on a holiday weekend(such as july 4) will drasticaly hurt attendance.I am becoming directly involved with the MADC to help rectify some of the issues that have plagued us. It will be a B tier this year, but a very good 1!! I'm hoping after a good showing this year, we will be back to A tier status next year. Anyone who has been mulling over no coming, please come! I promise it will be worth your while. The payout will be WAY better than last year. I have great visions of disc golf in Madison for years to come, and i hope all will continue to support! :p
