Can someone explain the rationale behind the division codes for "Ratings Events"?Gold, RPA, 970+
Blue, RAH, < 970
White, RAD, < 935
Red, RAE, < 900
Green, RAF, < 850
Purple, RAG, < 800http://www.pdga.com/documents/pdga-tour-standards

And could we please change the Pro Legend division progression to be consistent with the Master division progression (Master --> Grand --> Senior Grand) before it's been around long enough that anyone knows which is which?

No rationale for RA codes.
The few Legends asked preferred the names as currently posted.

That's too bad. With some minimal amount of thought we could have come up with some codes that made sense like:Sequential based:
Gold, RPA, 970+
Blue, RAA, < 970
White, RAB, < 935
Red, RAC, < 900
Green, RAD, < 850
Purple, RAE, < 800orColor based:
Gold, RPG, 970+
Blue, RAB, < 970
White, RAW, < 935
Red, RAR, < 900
Green, RAG < 850
Purple, RAP, < 800As for the Legend stuff, that's too bad as well. A couple years ago the PDGA fixed the inconsistency with the FW* codes. But now we're going back to more inconsistencies.

Unless Ratings based events get revitalized, it's not worth it to change the codes. Very few know what they are now. Because of the large historical database, it was a pain to even change the FW codes to FA codes and it still isn't over. I regularly get TD reports using old templates that have the FW codes so we have to process both.
