I just want to give a huge round of applause to the staff of the 2014 Pro Worlds in Portland Oregon!
As a player it was an honor to experience such a well-run event from start to finish. The courses were beautiful and challenging and I enjoyed playing them all. Blue Lake is as fine of a disc golf location and course as I have ever played.
With spotters everywhere---it seemed like on almost every hole on every course---the dedication of the Portland area disc golfers was greatly appreciated by all the players. The course directors on every course I played were always helpful and organized. Live scoring was the best I can remember...seemed sometimes like they had the scores before the players even finished the hole, it was that fast.
The players' packs were great, I'm so glad I had enough points to register early enough to get in. The payout topped $100,000 and that is just another example of how well this Worlds was presented.
