When a mold is approved, does that mean ll its variances are approved too?

For instance:
the Tern. Is the Tern-X legal?
Or the Monster X and L?
Gator, beaded and beadless?
The multitude of different Destroyer molds?

typically you see alll variances approved but as of late it doesn't seem like that has been common place anymore.

It's up to the manufacturer to determine whether a variant is enough different that they want testing to identify it separately on the approved list. For example, even a mold that's approved using one plastic is approved by default as "the same disc" when made using another plastic the manufacturer has already produced before in another approved mold.
