Do you know any "casual" players who have never tried tournament play? Get them to come out on Sunday for one round at McClure. They only pay $25, they will get a shirt (if any are left - I only ordered 100), and they get lunch after the round! All they need to bring is a disc or 2 and a cooler of their favorite beverages (for after the round, this is a sanctioned event after all).

Heck, I will even give them a beginners disc in their players pack if they want one - they don't even need to have their own discs to participate. My wife is playing, and she has never even completed 18 holes of golf in her life. Some of her friends are coming and they are "never ever played disc golf before" skill level. Just get them to come out, walk the course with their friends (we will put friends together on a card on this round) and have lunch after. What could be better?

I have ordered up some good weather for the event (fingers crossed, knock wood, etc.) with a May 18 long range forecast as of today of: mostly sunny, high 87, low 65, wind SSE at 7mph. Come on, what are you waiting for? Better pre-register and reserve your shirt size.
