End of year means its time to vote for wafda board members. This will be done at our yearly tag match on Dec. 15th at Ben Geren Park. Any Wafda member who is interested in running for the board this year please let me know by Thursday Dec. 13th. So we can get your name on the ballet. Wafda board members are asked to attend our monthly meetings on the first monday of every month at 7pm. Also help with courses and events ran by wafda. Please let me Joseph Brandenburger know if you want to run.

Also Dec. 15th will be our yearly wafda tag match. Top 4 players in that will get free membership for the next year. Free lunch (pulled BBQ pork, chips, cookies, and drinks) for all wafda members playing or not. Also free raffle for all wafda members, each member will get one ticket to start. Each round you win you get one more ticket. You can only win one prize, but if you have more then one of your tickets called, you can trade for the better prize or keep what you got. The other prize will be raffled off again if you take new prize. In the raffle we will have 2 baskets, half dozen disc golf bags, straps, stoll, tons of discs, dvd player, and more. Last day to buy and play for tags is Sunday Dec. 9th. After that day and before 5pm Friday Dec. 14th you must let Chris Eads 479-739-2266 know that you are coming and what tag you have. So he can have the bracket set up for Sat. morning. You need to be at Ben Geren by 8am to play.:)

Just wanted to post a few things about this year tag match. We had 99 wafda members this year and 51 of those showed up for the tag match. So thank you to everyone who was part of wafda this year. Every member there won something in the raffle, including a few sweet bags, an innova sport basket, and 32in. HDTV that was donated by Roger Knight. Plus tons of shirts, hats, a stool, discs, and other cool stuff.

We put our mini ace pot on the line for the tag match too. Which was $222 up for grabs for the players. Two Aces were hit that day, each acer won $111. Robert Davis Aced hole 7 on the innova baskets and James P-Dog Perry skip Aced hole 18. Congratulation to Robert and James both for throwing a perfect shot.

We had a great field this year and the top 8 coming in all made it to the final 8. Braden Eads finished 8th, James Perry 7th, Justin Morris 6th, and Erik Bailey 5th. Also top 4 coming in all made it to the final 4. Beto Hernandez finished 4th, Chris Eads 3rd, Chris Shelton 2nd, and this years overall Champion was Brent Wolfe. Congratulation to all of you for your placing. Top 4 recieved free 2013 membership, custom wafda mini, and 2013 bag tag. Thanks again for all who support the Western Arkansas Flying Disc Association!
