Hello, my name is Luc Hensley and I am the vice president of the Northern Colorado Disc Golf Club (NCDGC) in Fort Collins, CO. I am hoping to bring attention to a threat to disc golf in the northern Colorado area. The city of Fort Collins is proposing to reduce the beautiful Edora Park disc golf course from 18 holes to 9. We are vehemently opposed to this reduction. The course at Edora is over 20 years old and has long been a world-class tournament destination for players all over the area. Downsizing the course would be a devastating blow to the sport of disc golf in northern Colorado.

I have started a change.org petition (http://www.change.org/petitions/preserve-the-18-hole-disc-golf-course-at-edora-park-in-fort-collins-co) to request that the city refrain from changing the course. I am humbly requesting for the petition to be spread as far as possible, and for anyone who supports disc golf to sign it and share it with their friends. We are hoping to gain 1,000 signatures before we present the petition to the Fort Collins city council. For updates on our fight players can check our official site (http://www.nocodiscgolf.com/) or our facebook page. (http://www.facebook.com/groups/25057334555/) Thank you very much.
