Good notice, plenty of time to organize everyone who owns a lawnmower up there (biggest complaint every year, grass isn't cut).

You're overdue for an update. :D

But, hey, I've got a question at the end of the paragraph, maybe two or three related questions. I'm intermediate rated and I've pre-registered as an intermediate. The PDGA has that rule leaving it up to the TD to decide what to do about players who pre-register if there's a ratings change right before the tournament after they pre-register. I'm no expert on the finer details of the ratings system, but I might be a point or two over Intermediate with the ratings update that happens within two weeks of the tournament. Finally the question: Do you have a policy for what you do with pre-registered players whose rating goes up to a higher division, or is it year-by-year, case-by-case? How will that work? Should I e-mail you or post here if my rating goes over 934? I'm not sure which of the other three divisions I'd want to play if I'm not playing Intermediate.

The PDGA ratings after the update on March 20 will be used to determine final divisions for this event. If you need to change, and have a choice, e-mail the TD your choice.

Event is almost full, with 631 of the 640 slots taken, a few women and some advanced master positions left. Go to Disc golf U to see if you can still get in.

No waiting list, no replacements of drop outs, but a great field already registered in all divisions.

Thanks for getting scores up quickly.

I thought the event was run better than any occasion when I've played it in the past. The Bowling Green team seems to learn from what works and what doesn't work each year.

Can the results template be used to sort unofficial ratings by pool and course, or do we have to wait for the PDGA official ratings update to see meaningful ratings information? Right now, the unofficial ratings are based on every player having played the same course each round.

What happened with the scoring in Advanced Men?

Before the final 9 rounds were entered in, the scores showing were much much lower than they are currently listed as.

For example, Ryan Ulmer was -23 down for the Friday and Saturday rounds (even the PDGA article states this: http://www.pdga.com/break-outs-in-bowling-green), and much lower after the Sunday round posted. Now, he shows as being only -14 down for the whole tournament.

I went from being -14 down for the tournament after the Sunday AM round posted, to being +4 after the final 9 round posted. From what I can tell, it appears that the set score for Par changed at both Bowling Green Technical College and Phil Moore Park, but the par of 55 at Hobson Grove and the 57 at Keriakes are correct. Was this an earlier error made during the tournament or is this simply an error that was made upon entering in the final 9 scores? Also, what are the Pars at BGTC and PMP that are being used?

Thanks,

LBS

It looks like when they put up final scores they lost all of the pool information. Everyone is being treated as having played the same course each round. I'm sure this will get corrected before the results are official.

My guess is the par was not set close to 27 for the final round and was likely still at 54 as if 18 wwere being played.

Looks like someone is trying to put the pool information back into the unofficial ratings tonight. Right now, one pool has rating apart from the rest.
