If a person is of legal age, and it isn't a violation of park rules, can beer be allowed at C-tier events?

From the Comp. manual

3.3 Player Misconduct

B. Players are expected to behave in a professional and sportsmanlike manner while participating in a PDGA sanctioned event. Actions that are in violation of this conduct include but are not limited to:

10) Possession of alcohol from the start of play until the players scorecard is submitted. Such possession shall result in immediate disqualification at PDGA events sanctioned at B-Tier or higher. The Tournament Director may, at his sole discretion, elect to issue a warning to the offending player in lieu of disqualification solely at PDGA events sanctioned at C-tier and below. If a player has been previously issued a warning for alcohol possession at the same event, all subsequent violations shall result in immediate disqualification

The only difference being a C-tier makes is the TD can issue a warning for the first violation. If the competitor continues to drink after the warning he is then disqualified. So to answer your question,.... no. If you want beer at a tournament just don't sanction it.

So are you saying that a person of legal drinking age can't have a beer in the park (not a park violation) after they turn in their scorecard? I don't think so.

I believe that you can't have a beer during the round at a PDGA event.

No I'm not saying you can't have a beer after a tournament. I was explaining the difference between alcohol policies in A/B tiers as opposed to C tiers. Since there is no PDGA prohibition on alcohol after an A/B tier tournament, I really didn't think it was nessesary to specify there was also no prohibition against having alcohol after a C tier tournament. Granted I should have said "If you want to have beer during a tournament" instead of "at a tournament" but I really thought that given the context of the conversation the intent would have been obvious. Also, just to be clear, I am not saying you can't have alcohol before a tounament either.
