The course has been in the ground for almost a year now. It has come a long way and it gets better every day. It has been a "members only" course since it opened. The owner of the land has seen the amount of people who have been playing there. He likes what I have done with his land. He has looked into disc golf and finally realizes how big the sport is. He asked me," Why the course is not as popular as other courses in the area like Maple Hill or Pyramids. I told him, "It is starting to become popular, a lot of poeple know about the course but they know they need to be a member to play it." He asked, "What would it take to make it a course that everyone will talk about. "How do we get people to want to come from all over to play this course." I told him, "I have done the best I can with the money that has come in." He said "Would $25000 help." You probably know what I said.
So hopefully by this weekend Hyland disc golf course will have the money it needs to become a great course. I have huge plans for this great piece of land. You will soon see things on this course no other course has or would ever think about doing. The course will be opening to the public and rounds wil cost $5. Did I mention there is a micro brewery next to hole 1,9, and 18. Like Hyland on Facebook.
