We've had record turnouts. At this rate the ace pot will be a record as well.

Ace pot stands at $220.

Correction: I did not have results for the last two doubles events, so the ace pot is actually at $283. Each ace hit during the league gets an equal share (assuming you are a Live Oak member).

Attendance continues to be up about 50% over last year, which was up over 2009. The popularity of disc golf continues to soar.

Reminder: Next Week...switching it up...Doubles at UC on Tuesday, Singles at LO on Thursday. We will run this way for the month of May, and then we go All Singles to get ready for LOSO (July 9-10).

Also next week will be Merchandise Nights so you can spend those points.

I have players at the Wednesday McClain mini interested in picking up LO tags.

Yes, I have given tags to Jerrod, Wolf, and Larry so they are available at all 3 weekly minis.

Also I need to purchase an SADC bag tag. If you can pick one up, I will reimburse you.

The bag tag is actually a Fly Ink bag tag, not SADC.

I'll see about getting one from Dave Wimer, or, even better, getting Wimer out to one of the LODGA minis.

Actually the tags are BOTH Fly Ink & SADC. The money is used as added cash for the FIO.

The schedule in the League Rules are silent on the subject:

May 3 � May 26: Pro/Am Doubles at Universal City, Singles at Live Oak
June 7 � July 7: All events will be singles, to prepare for Live Oak Summer Open

Corey, you are correct. Schedule should read:

May 3 � June 2: Pro/Am Doubles at Universal City, Singles at Live Oak
June 7 � July 7: All events will be singles

Also, next week is Merchandise Week so I'll be bringin' the goods.

There will be no Merchandise Nights in July due to preparation for and recovery from LOSO.

Also, we are not able to redeem league points at LOSO, so dont ask. (You get better prices by not redeeming at LOSO anyway. So save your points.)
