We will start taking nomintations for next years Club Officers. If you would like to be placed on the ballot please let any current Club Officer know. I hope we see some new folks with some great ideas next year but I still want to see the old ones too.:D I said 2010 would be our BEST Year Yet......and it was!!!! We brought San Antonio it's first ever PDGA A-Tier Event!!! 2010 was truly the year of the San Antonio Disc Club and next year will be even better!!! We will take nominations until 1-15-11 and will vote the following week. ONLY Current SADC Members are eligible to run. We will have an End of Year Club Meeting after the New Year. Stay tuned for date. We will again run a FREE Mini with merchandise payout and meeting afterwards. EVERYONE is invited. Hope to see you then.

We do. It was on the website which has now moved to Facebook. I have a copy of it to send through email if anyone would like a copy let me know. Here are the Officer duties:

 SADC President
 The SADC President shall preside over meetings and direct overall Club operations.
 The SADC President shall be a PDGA member and official.
 The SADC President shall schedule club meetings.
 The SADC President shall be responsible for coordinating club activities as to avoid conflicts with other clubs and other area tournaments.
 The SADC President shall develop and maintain a SADC schedule of events.
 The SADC President shall work with local and regional clubs to foster a relationship of collaboration and cooperation. This includes but is not limited to attending other club meetings, regularly contacting and communicating with keyrepresentatives at other local and regional clubs, and generally maintaining a positive relationship with other local and regional clubs.
 The SADC President may appoint temporary replacements for officials who can not complete their terms.
 The SADC President shall vote on disbursement of club funds.

 SADC Financial Officer
 The SADC Financial Officer shall manage, account, and disperse all common Club funds.
 The SADC Financial Officer shall provide financial status reports at each meeting and at the annual meeting.
 The SADC Financial Officer is responsible for developing and adhering to fiscal rules or operations to ensure club funds are protected.
 The SADC Financial Officer is responsible for developing and adhering to a yearly operating budget.
 The SADC Financial Officer is responsible for providing quarterly updates on the clubs financial status in each quarterly meeting and as needed by the SADC.
 The SADC Financial Officer shall vote on disbursement of club funds.

 SADC Secretary
 The SADC Secretary is responsible for documenting all official SADC activates including but not limited to meetings, votes on club money disbursements, and tournaments.
 The SADC Secretary is responsible for maintaining electronic and hard copies of all SADC activity documentation and records.
 The SADC Secretary is responsible for developing and maintaining rules and regulations on voting procedures.
 The SADC Secretary is responsible for conducting voting procedures in adherence with the rules and regulations on voting procedures.
 The SADC Secretary shall vote on disbursement of club funds.

 SADC Membership and Communications Officer
 The SADC Membership and Communications Officer is responsible for all aspects of membership including but not limited to: collection of dues, maintaining a club database, correspondence with members, and regular projects to help grow the Club.
 The SADC Membership and Communications Officer shall oversee the Club web site and maintain the SADC email address. The Club shall pay for all service charges.
 The SADC Membership and Communications Officer shall regularly send communication to other local and regional clubs pertaining to SADC business, and will pass on other clubs local and regional business to SADC members.
 The SADC Membership and Communications Officer shall vote on disbursement of club funds.

 SADC Promotions and Marketing Officer
 The SADC Promotions and Marketing Officer shall be responsible for SADC public relations. This includes notifying media of special events and maintaining contacts with the SAPRD.
 The SADC Promotions and Marketing Officer shall coordinate fund raising efforts with Event Directors for specific event.
 The SADC Promotions and Marketing Officer shall maintain a list of sponsors for SADC events and should be the go to person for coordinating sponsorship activities.
 The SADC Promotions and Marketing Officer shall be responsible for contacting and maintaining positive relationships with other local and regional clubs.
 The SADC Promotions and Marketing Officer shall vote on disbursement of club funds.

 SADC Course Pro's
 The SADC Course Pro's are responsible for running minis and/or league events held at the responsible Course. In lieu of the SADC Course Pro's being available for an event, the SADC Course Pro's shall appoint another qualified individual to run that event.
 The SADC Course Pro's are responsible for determining maintenance needs at the respected courses and working with the SADC to address those maintenance needs.
 The SADC Course Pro's are responsible for coordinating and conducting course work days on an as needed basis.

FREE Random Draw Doubles Mini (with merchandise payout) starting at 10:00 AM (sign up by 9:45 AM) and having a Club Meeting aftterwards. These individuals stepped up and did not have anyone to run against. I know I've said this before but it's TRUE!!! This year is going to be the best one ever for SADC! Great group of people here....I'm excited. Can't wait to work with you all. 2010 Memberships expire the day before the Ice Bowl and 2011 Memberships will start on the date of the Ice Bowl. These individuals will assume duties that day. Tell them "Thanks" when you see em.

We are not doing tags this year. Wimer is going to have Fly Ink Tags for sale this year.

Scott told me about this during the mud mini on Sat. Since I am not going to be at the meeting on the 22nd I wanted to throw my 2 cents in now.

Fly Ink Bag Tags are great and all... but that is really more of a Dave Wimer/ Fly Ink thing... not a SADC thing (not knocking Dave or anything). Scott gave me his thoughts on why SADC isn't doing bag tags this year.

I just feel like that bag tags should be part of the SADC memberships (the tee shirts never fit me anyway). I have no problem paying and extra $5-$10 to have that either. I think it was always a good way to get new people signed up so they have something to play for. Those things are like a badge of honor for me... I love to have it on my bag and show people what # I have.

Again... just my 2 cents

Rick is right.. Sadc should do bag tags as well... Mine are going to be for the sole purpuse to raise money for the Fly Ink open. Im sure alot of people will pass on them.

Bird/ Scott.... I remember you said there were bylaws for the SADC Bag Tags... were can I find a copy of that?

I have something somewhere but I think we should task someone on the Leadership team at the club meeting to be in charge of the bag tags and let them blow this thing up and develop new rules. Too many people get the tag and hide.

The weather was Great for the Club Meeting. Great Turnout!!! Even had a BWARE sighting. Meeting went well and we are ahead of schedule on the SADC Course Initiative. Last years Alamo Disc Series played a big part in raising funds for that. Just wanted to send another big "Thank You" to Scott for everything that he has done for the club. He goes above and beyond and I can't be more greatful to have him in SADC. If there were a member of the year award...he would be it for 2010. Hope to see everyone at the Ice Bowl.:)

Saturday @ 11:30 Insted of ...After the Mini. I tried my best to guess what time the mini would end and the meeting would start... I guessed wrong:( Any way I agree Scott is the man!! and why dont we give out awards for that?? Most improved... Player of the year...Club Champ.. The Jerry Chesterson award...Get the peeps more involved in the club:D Trophies would be easy to award.. They could be trophie discs.. I know a guy who can dye them!!
