All I hear is how we should get more women involved in the sport, but when my wife needs a new 150 g Champion Sidewinder and we look locally and online dealers don't carry any. They need a fair selection just like the guys if we want them to come out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

disc-diva.com always has a good supply of 150 class discs on hand. Right now we have a lot of 150 DX and Star sidewinders and 2 150 champion sidewinders, one orange and one yellow with a disc-girls stamp on them that my wife came up with last year. Check our website and email her for specifics.

Looking for a web site concerning the Women's USDGC, something that could lay out the history. ie. year started, who won, by how many strokes, etc. anyone got any info? what discs are released exclusively at this tourney? etc. etc. etc.
send me any available links that are out there!

The 2010 USWDGC site has a good history page:

I agree that it is hard to find lighter weight plastic but I also feel it is up to us to make it known that it is needed. Not just for women...I use 150 class backhand because my backhand is notably weaker than my forehand and it helps me make up a distance gap. Kids also use a lot of lightweight and older fellas do too so its not just for women.

Make sure your tourney vendors know and stock some, make sure TDs get a small stack of 150s for players pack discs, and let stores know that it is important to have something other than max weight.

Of course if you do these things you better buy them and get women involved in tournaments!!

thanks for the info, found that site, but nothing relating to the players in the field and whom participated for years 99-06 and 2009.

If you click the years it will take you to the PDGA tournament results.

Probably have to look it up in the DGWN magazines. Not sure there are many computerized event results files before 2001 so most online info has to be typed in manually.

For 150 class discs, this place always has a pretty solid selection. I even see 150 champ sidewinders.
