Saturday Sept. 25th is National Public Lands Day. As some of you may know, we have been in the planning stage to put in another championship caliber disc golf course in at Russellville with the help of the Army Corps of Engineers and the Boy Scouts of America. The course will be located at Old Post Road Park. (sometimes called Lock and Dam park) The park will have tons of visitors and volunteers there for National Public Lands Day and the park thought it would be a good idea for us to put on a disc golf demonstration for the visitors/volunteers that day.

We are going to bring as many temporary baskets as we can and play the holes that can be played right now. Some holes aren't playable bc we still haven't gotten "official" word from the state to clear the land but obviously they feel like this is a done deal. Just wanted to invite anyone who was free Saturday Sept. 25th to come on out and enjoy a day of disc golfing and be the first to ever play parts of the new Dam Course. We will start setting up around 1:00 p.m. and should tee off with at least 9 holes at 2:00 p.m. or so. If you have anymore question just give me a shout. Matt Loyd 479-264-4469.
