You can follow the European championships on the official PDGA site (http://www.pdga.com/), on the EC10 site (http://www.ec10.fr/Menus/home.php) and some pictures on the facebook group EC10 (http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=112883585431604&ref=ts).

Looks like Junior, Seppo Paju, pulls a "Voakes" by shooting a better score in a "Major" than the Open division winner or was the Junior Semi on a different course?

The open division played the semis on a different course (the easier of the two played) than the rest of the divisions. If you don't take the semis into account, Seppo would've beaten Jesper by four shots. A 16-year old shooting four rounds with an unofficial round rating average of 1044 and beating the open field by four shots is something that doesn't happen everyday. And he didn't start playing until 2007. Talk about talent!

Hi fellow PDGA kaddy(ies),
Facebook is a bit complex for me. Can you recommend another way to view the pictures at www.ec10.fr event?
Peter B. #28282 was injured there and Marco H. (NL) stepped up. Both Marco and Peter use a program called 'Picassa'. It seems a way to keep track of foto's by person's , places, topics (?) and things. I believe he took a lot of foto's. Perhaps there another program that's even more 'cross-platfrom' since there were more than 15 different countries recognized.
I haven't joined it as a member of that program ( cost?) but it seems to me , its a convenient foto place to find them. With a billion foto's the web, ... 42 topics which I can imagine 21 of them will be for the flying disc(s):) there were a number of camera's that gig.
Here's a foto I took when I got back from www.ec10.fr where I believe a record for the number of throw(s) in a European Championship.
I'll write again soon, when my body stops scolding for me not finding a PDGA kaddy and paying the current wage. 'Del' shared at the lunch that someone walked the Ohlain course with a GPS device recording and told it was 11 km. to get around it ! 'talk about tired dog's '
happy Monday

thanks for the effort to find this link :) http://picasaweb.google.com/102517696408568830038/EuropeanChampionships2010#
It might be difficult to find the total number of throws at the 2001 EC in Oslo, however, perhaps this, so far this unamed* 'kaddy of the year', ( see enclosed foto from Picassa) can perhaps ascertain the total number throws made at this years EC in Pas de Calais.
ie. in the senior grandmaster final round, I believe there were 223 throws of which 187 were picked up off the ground before the successful putt was made.
An approximate number of flying disc throws [fdt's] for all the rounds for sr. granders were @ 1802... of which I/we never 'contracted' ** a Kaddy to help us pick so many discs them up off the ground:)
" Merc tout le monde "
Mike
*( perhaps 'sun-check'?)
** contract in triplicate please :)

Hi,
Mental floss needed ...especially after such a physical tournament www.ec10.fr . I'm just in back from scouting DG course in 'le provence' ( spelling? Gap, Gringon,Gorgonza...Remizet came across a former Tour de France wielrenner ) ( see autograph, he sold wine and olive oil at the 'brokante' when we came by. ( he had a leg accident, and stopped)
I gave the disc with the website for your club, perhaps you can share it and get the club here in Utrecht?
here's a wonder, too. I played a practice round with some folks from Sweden, the fellow was an expert with butterfly's. here's a picture I took yesterday, maybe he might know what kind of butterfly it is?
The next Dutch winter tour event is in Tilburg ( Brabant). 1st Saturday of the month, maybe some players from your club makes a 'road trip' ? On that Sunday we'll play in Utrecht's Prinses AmaliaPark at 12:00
