I'm going on vacation for a week in September and thought I would check and see if anyone had any recommendations. I've learned planning ahead saves a lot of time once you are on the road. And I know discers are experienced travellers, espescially those that would take on Colorado. Would love any referrals for disc golf courses, ball golf courses, hiking, attractions, places to eat, lodging, things to look out for, whatever. Thanks!

For DG Courses, I might do a loop along the lines of this. Probably won't have time to do them all.

* = I've played previously (and quite impressed)

*Pueblo-City Park
Poncha Springs
Leadville- CMC
Glenwood Springs- CMC
Peninsula- Frisco
Russel Gulch- Ghost Town
Estes Park- Rocky Mountain YMCA
Belvue- Golden Eagle (looks like may be tricky getting from Estes, and then to RFL)
*Red Feather Lakes- Sundance Trail
*Red Feather Lakes- Beaver Meadows
*Ft. Collins- Edora
*Pine- Phantom Falls
*Conifer- Beaver Ranch

Would probably play if I had more time.
Crested Butte- 10-3 (would love to see this one, but a long drive)
Vail- Adventure Ridge
Divide- Golden Bell
Colorado Springs- HP
New Castle- Fire Mountain
*Arvada- Johnny Roberts
Arvada- Bird's Nest
Tabernash- Snow Mountain YMCA
Winter Park
Avon- Beaver Creek
Avon- Bachelor Gulch
Empire- Easter Seals
Black Forest- Sakuna Pines
Aspen- Aspen Mountain

For Golf, there are tons of good courses to sort through, but the following are getting my attention the most. Both spectacular and not insane expensive.

New Castle- Lakota Canyon Ranch: Elevated tees.
Breckenridge- Nicklaus design: Bear, Beaver, & Elk 9 holers @ 9300'.
Estes Park- Estes Valley: Scenery.
Golden- Fossil Trace: Rock formations in fairways.

2nd choices
Leadville- Mt. Massive: Highest course in North America.
Winter Park- Pole Creek: Ridge, Meadow, & Ranch 9's.
Littleton- Arrowhead: Looks like Garden of the Gods, but a bit expensive.
Avon- Eagle Vail: Palmer design.
Castle Rock- Red Hawk Ridge
Brighton- Riverdale Dunes.
Larkspur- Bear Dance.
Keystone- Ranch Course.
Silverthorn- Raven @ 3 Peaks: Lehman design.
Wolcott- Red Sky: Norman designed course supposed to be the best public course in CO, but over $200.
