Played up there last night and from what I saw, the course will be ready and groomed for this weekend. I was there a week ago and the difference is night and day. I haven't been on the island course but moccassin is very nice.

Thanks to all the staff, awesome job getting things moving, in and out, and staying on time for teetimes. This was my favorite OKIE DOUBLES to date!

....Jared Pennington.... BOOM!!! Jared was on fire ALL WEEKEND long... awesome to watch and play against. Not to mention having Mitch Mac putting behind him, basically meant, no misses almost all weekend. Superb golf. Always a pleasure playing rounds with Mitch.

Big Big Big props to Stettinger and Custard for battling in OPEN and taking down 2nd place! Bubba can BOMB a disc. And Kody stepped up huge when they needed it, with many clutch putts and some remarkable drives of his own down the stretch to hold the 1 stroke lead over us and 2nd place finish.

Thanks to my partner Aaron Triska... always willing to step up and throw down with the big guns, and he played some super good golf, hitting almost every line or gap off the tee, can't ask for much more!

Two years in a row for us losing to 2nd by 1 stroke, against the kind of competition we have here in Oklahoma, definitely a great challenge, Triska-Dorries will be back next year!

I know all the City folks like Okie dubs in OKC but even they will have to admit, the OKC courses do not offer what we had this weekend. That was a butt kicker and we had a 4 wheeler. I can only imagine how the walking teams felt about half way through the 3rd round.

We had a FANTASTIC card all weekend and I couldn't ask for a better partner than Scotty. We played much better on Sunday than Saturday.

I can't explain the connection I have with that property and the fine people who own it. I have been out there many times since the first time Kevin McCoy brought a handful of players up there with temp baskets to see some of the holes he had created.

Great fun.

Jim and Debbie are like an aunt and uncle to me, and have helped me out so much. I am truly grateful for all they have helped me with. Quality people is an understatement.

As everyone knows, I have been working at bass pro shops and that has cut out a huge portion of my golfing time. I am going to try and get back into the sport and show everyone what I can do.

But coming back from a year without tournaments and winning is a real good feeling.

See everyone soon. Can't wait to hang out with Daryl next year. Penny and I got to play one round with DJ and it was a very impressive and humbling experience.

Thanks to all who worked on the courses, so the rest of us didn't have to.
