The Optimizer must be one of the most understable flyers on the PDGA approved disc list:

Spectra is very understable, downright flippy. Also, check out the Roadrunner, and Vision.

Optimizer is most flippy mentioned, without a doubt. I recently encountered flippier though, some disc made for kids. Super domey, rim more shallow than anything ever, and lighter than hell. Can't remember the name, gave it to some Dad who'd brought out his 9 year old daughter. She could get it to fly straight and hold a tiny bit of turn.

And

Both are PDGA approved and both are very under-stable. They are fun to throw!

what im trying to master is a flat released disc that when thrown 80 -85 % will glide out maybey 100 ft and hit edge as a roller then roll upwards of 150 -200 ft.
right nnow im really cranking over on a champion roadrunner and slamming it to the ground only 45 -60 ft in front of the teeing area.
this some times produces the desired result.
however i use alot of energy and a lot of body english to do this shot.
id like to throw a regular flat backhand and get the roller result.
by the way i have thrown air shot over 400 ft at pdga distance compatitions.
so i believe i have adiquate energy available to achieve this desire.
a while back i was throwing the old gummy quarter k and it was acting in this manner but the plastic just doesnt hold up.

Stratus is great for short rollers.

Try the QK II. It is extremely understable and the plastic should hold up better.
Avenger SS is good, too, especially in ESP plastic.
The Optimizer, as others have mentioned, does just what you want, right out of the box! I don't know how easy they are to find anymore, but it's as if you describing this disc! You have to get one!

Try a lighter weight Roadrunner/Sidewinder. Beat it up.

Little Flyers manufactures the Optimizer as well as the Maximizer.
You can find the Optimizers at: http://gottagogottathrow.com/discgolf/optimizer-dx-p-111.html

1. The PDGA in all their infinite charity gave me a warped ESP Stratus when I joined. I threw it once: it was a standing shot, flat at about 60% power. It went roller about 100 ft out. I suspect a crappy warped ESP Stratus is exactly the kind of disc you want.
2. Why on earth do you want a disc for this shot?! I assume you have one particular hole in mind...?

some holes require a low release.
i play poorly sometimes and create shots that others may not need.
ive seen videos that show this skill.
any middle distance to long distance holes with clean ground could use this shot.
