So I was looking at a Vibram putter last weekend and wondering how the two-piece flight plate passed the technical specs and got approved, so I read the current version of the specs and that part was deleted. Interesting reading.

There are also words to specifically allow a 1 cm "nipple".

I just thought I'd post this in case there was anyone else out there who remembers the old flight plate spec and hadn't read the new version. Who knows...maybe the rev came out 5 years ago!

I think it came out before the Gateway/Quest overlay discs came out a few years ago.

That was changed a few years ago after the Turbo Putt triggered a review and revision of the specs.
