This tournament is a challenge for every disc-lover! 3 rounds of disc golf, plus 5 optional field events: DDC, MTA, Putting, Distance, and Freestyle. There will be a champion in each category, but only one overall champion!
This is the 3rd leg of the Sooner Point Series. Your current standings will be posted Saturday morning at the TD stand.
Everything will be taking place at Griffin Park, except for the second round of disc golf on Saturday, which will be at Lions Park.

TD is Marie Stapp (405) 365-8038, Co-TD is Jason Bieda (405) 659-5505.

Entry fees: $50 for Pros; $30 for Ams (this includes Advanced); $5 per field event or $20 for all 5!

Online registration available at Dynamic Discs: www.dynamicdiscs.com/reg35thstatechamps.html

To everyone who received a "schedule" of events from Steve King related to the State Championships, please ignore it. It says that we will be playing Lions first, Griffin second on Saturday. This is incorrect. The schedule of events that I have posted on here is the correct one and it is the one we will be going by, since I am the TD on this. I apologize for the confusion, but there are a lot of changes going on in Sooner Disc Golf and misunderstandings can happen during these times. Please feel free to call me with any questions! (405) 365-8038.
See you there!

I am glad there is a set schedule on when we Tee and not a Steve King answer like "Well it just depends on how the After Party goes" :D

Lol! No, Jason and I both prefer to run a rather tight ship, so you can expect the schedule to be strictly adhered to!

UPDATE: The field events WILL be flighted (Pro and Am), so if you're an Am, feel free to get out there and compete!

Were you guys going to run the field events as one big division?

No, Bubba, but I don't think it was ever specifically stated that there would be Am and Pro divisions in the field events and there have been many, many questions about it. So I thought I would make a statement to clarify! :D See you there!

Will there be a Final 9?

No, we won't have a Final 9 at this one. The schedule is pretty packed as it is and I don't feel it would be wise to try to fit anything else in. Sorry!

Just a reminder: When you're signing up for the tourney, remember that the field events are not mandatory, but the more events you play, the better chance you have at becoming overall state champion!
